IRENE'S POV
“Where have you been?” Seulgi asked as I entered Lisa’s room, not minding her question I went to the couch and drop my bag.
“Where’s Jennie?” My question was answered when I look at the bed where Lisa was, I sighed I know Jennie’s not getting enough sleep because oftheir situation she’s been through a lot.
“Should I wake her up?” Seulgi asked glancing at Jennie too
“Let her be, she needs rest more than anything else.” I said looking at how peaceful Jenie sleeps when she’s beside Lisa.
“I bought you two breakfast so that we can eat together.” I glance at Seulgi as she looks at me with worry on her face.
“Thank you.” I gave her a faint smile. “But I have eaten with Wendy already so go ahead.” She look down biting her bottom lip and I felt quite guilty when she smiles as me but her eyes says otherwise.
“I’ve broken up with Joy.” She whispers
“You what?” I asked shock.
“I’ve broken up with Joy, I told you I wnted to be with you.”
“Are you out of your mind? You know that’s impossible. I have Wendy as my girlfriend Seulgi!”
“But I love you!” Her jaw clenched as she spits those words and my heart frantically beats. “I know you have feelings for me too try to deny that to yourself but I know your heart tells you aotherwise. I can feel it Hyun, you just have to realize and admit it to yourself.”
I shook my head, this is too wrong she’s insane and I’m afraid Seulgi was right, that after all she knows me more than Wendy did.
“Unbelievable. Aren’t you satisfied yet? You kissed me Seulgi, you made me cheated on your cousin, on my girlfriend.” I gritted my teeth as I stoop up.
“And you kissed back, you kissed me back Hyun. You’ve confessed to me your feelings back then.”
“And it was back then.” I emphasized. “Why can’t you understand that Seulgi?” I frustrated spoke. Instead of getting mad, I was surprised when Seulgi walks in front of me and knelt down “What are you doing? Stand up.” She reaches for my hand as she looks up at me in the eye.
“Give me a chance Hyun, I should’ve confessed to you the first time, believe me when I sy I love you because it’s true, and all I want is for you to give me chance to prove myself.” I bit my lip as I look at her in the eyes, tears welled in her eyes and all I can see is sincerity.
“I believe you Seulgi, but I can’t hurt Wendy.” I whispers, why do we have to be in this kind of situation?
“2 weeks, that’s all I needed Hyun. I just wanted to make you feel my love. She won’t know about it, just please let me..” Tears fel from her eyes and I know I still have a soft spot for Seulgi in my heart when I felt a pang in my chest seeing her cry because of me. I close my eyes and heave deep sigh.
“Fine, I’m giving you 2 weeks to prove yourself to me.” I was still closing my eyes when I said those words. I felt Seulgi let go of my hand s I felt pair of arms wrapped round me, she was hugging me and the craziest thing ws I should push her off of me but I let her be.
“Thank you, Thank you Hyun.” When I opened my eyes, a tear fell down. The first tht came to my mind was I don’t want Wendy to get hurt, I can’t lose her and she can’t know about this. I’m doomed, I’m so sorry my love.
