Mark's pov

"You let them get away!" Viviana said walking back to me.

I stood up trying to regain my balance, that one was a hell of a punch.

"Me? I was just punched in the fucking face."

I pulled my badge out and walked to the guy.

"I'm calling the cops on you two." He said pulling his phone out.

"I'm already here, she is wanted for questioning in her parent's murder, but she keeps rubbing away." I showed him my badge.

"Oh shit."

"It's okay, you did the right thing. She was screaming about kidnapping."

"How is that the right thing?" Viviana asked.

"As a person, if we see that someone is in danger, we are to help them. He did just that. He thought we were going to kidnap to girls so he went after me to make sure I didn't hurt them." I put my badge away. "Sir, you are free to go."

I walked back to my car, I saw the tire treads in the mud next to my car, Tyler is following them.

"Where are you going?" Viviana barked at me.

"To the fucking doctors! I think my nose is broken."

I got in my car and sped off in the direction they went. When I got far enough away I called Tyler.

"I am following her, she is speeding away pretty fast." He said.

"She is going to try to shake you, any money her parents taught her how to drive. Which means they taught her how to escape the police."

"I know, I'm holding back but not too far back."

" what the fuck was Viviana doing there?"

"No clue, I don't even know how she found out where we were."

"I need to gain Amy's truth back. She doesn't believe that we are on her side."

"Do you blame her?"

"Hell no. But I'll find away."

"Fuck, she is working her way father from me, I need to let you go."

I ended the call and turned on Tyler's location so I can follow him. Damn, she got some distance in a short amount of time. I sped up turning the lights on. Undercover car with police lights works wonders.

I was able to get caught up in no time, but all I got was a shit ton of traffic. I turned the lights off, no need to scare her.

Tyler called me.

"I lost her! We got out of the tunnel and I can't find her."

"Damn it, she did the switch."

"Yep."

"I'm in traffic."

"Yeah, Someone broke down in the middle of the road."

"Great."

"Yeah, I am passed it, but it is making driving a hell of a ride."

After about half an hour I made it to the end of the tunnel. There is no way we are going to find her. She can be in a different state by now. Viviana is going to find her and turn her in. I smacked my hand on the steering wheel out of frustration.

After my meltdown, the phone went off again.

"Any luck?" Tyler asked.

"No, I am stuck out of the tunnel."
