Amy's pov

When I woke up I was still in Mark's arms.

"You don't sleep much." He said, keeping his eyes closed.

"You don't either."

"I need to stay awake in case someone comes for you or Abbie."

"Don't do it." I said low.

"Do what?" He opened his eyes looking at me.

"Set them on fire, I know it sounds easy but it's not. Plus, there is always going to be more people coming for us. They will find out that it was you and they will come for you. I am not worth you losing your life over."

"You are worth so much more than you see." He played with my hair.

"That's what you think."

"Well, they need to all be dead for you and Abbie to have a normal life."

"Normal?" I laughed.

A small smile formed on his lips as he said,  "Yes, normal as in not running and fighting for your lives, or lying to your sister about all of the bad people."

"Well, what else am I to do when this crazy ass gang will not leave us alone? And we have the police after us too!"

"If the gang was not messing with you and your family then you both would have a normal life. There would be no reason for the police to be up your ass."

"Why do you hate the gang?"

"I have my reasons, but my main one is that they want you and Abbie to join."

"You barely know us."

"Do you really know yourself?"

"This is true, but I have to live with myself for the rest of my life."

He let a small chuckle out.

"I mean it!" I laughed as he held me tighter.

"I know, but if you want me to not set them on fire then I will not set them on fire." He said.

"Thank you, They are pain in our asses but if you do your plan then they will be after us and they will kill you. Right now they don't know about you."

He kissed the top of my head.

"Trust me, they will know about me." He smiled.

"Is Abbie up?"

"No, I haven't heard her."

"That doesn't mean that she is sleeping."

I got up from his arms and walked to Abbie's room. But I stopped dead in my tracks before I got to my door.

"Someone else is in here." I said trying to not freak out.

"Oh, that is Tyler. Sorry. He wanted to use the wifi to look up some more information on this gang." Mark jumped out of bed.

I slowly opened the door to see Tyler sitting at the table working on his laptop.

"Sorry, I forgot to tell you, you looked so peaceful getting the little bit of sleep that you did."

"It's okay." I walked out of the room.

"Amy! Look who showed up!" Abbie said sitting next to Tyler, she had one of her dolls and a coloring book in front of her.

"I see, Hi Tyler." I waved.

"How was your sleep?"

"Not long enough." I walked behind Abbie and started to play with her hair. "Why are you not sleeping?"
