So, there’s been a little miscommunication in the last chapter. Liam was stabbed, there were 7 shots because they didn’t feel the need to shoot Liam too, considering he’s borderline dead anyways. As much as I wish I could make it a dream, I had already planned for this to happen and I’ve already planned what happens next.
Don’t fret, I’m honestly not that evil, please don’t let the last chapter’s end put you off this story… nor should you let the next couple of chapters get to you. I honestly prefer to read a happy ending, and although this story will have two endings- one happy and one sad- (so far anyways) so don’t lose hope yet.
Have a little faith in me.
Now, I did warn you that I use foreshadowing, so remember to keep your eyes out for that… or don’t, it may just make the surprises better.
I also give you all permission to kill me…. (If you don’t want another update that is….)
By the way guys! This story is coming to an end pretty soon!!! It’ll be 60 chapters or so! So, thank you all for sticking by this story, and I hope you guys read my next one!

~Niall~
I was tired of fighting this damned battle, this godforsaken war that I didn’t ask to be a part of. I didn’t want this, I didn’t want to fall in love, I didn’t want mates, all I wanted to do was survive this virus. I didn’t ask to be immune, and sometimes I realize this is a curse and not a blessing.
Maybe that was why earth had decided to kill off the humans, maybe that’s why the virus had began- because humans take rarity, and something unique and they torture it, exile and ostracize it. Humans are scared of everything different, everything that they can’t explain.
That’s why they torture me I suppose, they don’t know why I’m immune, they don’t like that I’m different even if it meant that I could save the rest of the human race from total extinction.
I didn’t know why they tried to fool everyone, people weren’t stupid. There would never be a ‘cure’ for this virus- who would want to cure those people anyways? They were dead, rotting. Imagine the pain someone would have to go through if they were a walker and then human again- walkers were missing flesh, organs that allow them to survive. Even if there was a cure, it shouldn’t be used on them. They were long gone, and if they ever came back they would either be in immense pain laying on their death bed for a second time or they wouldn’t be the same as the person they were when they were bitten.
It was pointless.
Just like me trying to fight this impossible battle.
I no longer screamed, the tears continued to cascade down my cheeks silently, I no longer fought. I had given up. I went limp in their strong grips, allowing them to drag me around like a rag doll. I didn’t care, there was nothing left to care about.
I watched Stan practically skip ahead, joy in every step he took. I could tell he was happy, he was smug- maybe now the ‘big boss’ would actually acknowledge his existence. He may even get a little praise. His proud attitude practically radiated off of him, I didn’t even care enough to roll my eyes or scoff at him- I didn’t think he really seemed to notice.
