Scorpion headed into the mess of a forest. She could sense Active following gingerly behind her. She rose her bared tail a slightly above the earth, it wasn't likely someone would approach them though. She twitched her ear, she peered over her shoulder at Active, who kept glancing rapidly around the burnt forest. Scorpion tilted her head. "You alright?" He jumped from the sudden noice.

"Ye-yeah why?" He tilted his head, but his eyes bagged to check his surroundings. "No ones gonna approach us you salamander," she teased. "C'mon, we forgot to tell Blaze and Violet we were leaving, we should finish up before they start worrying," she finished. Active hesitated, glanced around, then said. "Yeah, your right," "Finally you admit it," Scorpion laughed, and walked a bit quicker.

Scorpion flinched from the smokes bitter stench. It seamed as if it had swallowed up the hole sky. She kept walking towards where the clearing had been. After a few minutes, she spotted it, hidden in the trees that still stood like towering grave stones, only speaking of one thing. Death. Something rammed her to the ground, she swung her barbed tail at the creatcher, it caught it, an put a claw to his snout, indicating to be quiet. It was Active, of course. Scaring her again as always. Active let go of her tail, and crept towards the clearing. How careful can this dragon be? Scorpion thought.

As she slowly approached the clearing, she saw why he stoped her...Two dragons were standing in the clearing. "So, its official?" The dragon spoke in a menacing tone. She recognized that snake like voice, it was queen Burn of the Flamewings. "Yes Burn," the other one spoke, another female. "And my prize?" She hissed. Scorpion had never heard that dragon before. "Yes Leaf," Burn said a bit annoyed. "Your receive it after we fly to the desert," "The desert?!" The dragon exclaimed. "I hate the desert! The heat is miserable, and the sand aways gets stuck in my claws," she complained.

"Well your have to deal with it, your a queen for snakes sate, deal with it. The Sandwings are your assisters after all." "Yeah yeah," the dragon moaned. "I don't have much time on my talons, when are we leaving," "Tomorrow, I need to make a stop," Burn growled. Burn didn't talk for a long, uncofiabel time...

"Somethings here, I can smell it," she suddenly hissed. "Smell it?!" The dragon exclaimed. "I won't be smelling anything for days with this mess." Scorpion saw Active back up out of the corner of her eye. He mouthed something to her. 'what?' she mouthed back, she tilted her head and shrugged. Something abruptly dashed between them. Scorpion stumbled back. Burn glared down at Active. "There you are..." She looked at him. Scorpion didn't know why, but she threw he self at the towering queen. She dug her talons into her back, and raised her barbed stinger. Before she could plunge it into her victim, something pinned her to the ground. A huge, slender bright green dragon held her rigged claws on Scorpions chest.

She had black Spots scattered from her neck, to her tail. Hints of white hid in the dragons green scales. Her scales almost looked like a glissading lake. She flicked up her tail. Its tip ripped in two, and Scorpion almost screamed, when she released this was a Venomwing. A spike slid out of the separated parts, shinning bright in the early light.

With out thinking, Scorpion torn her barbed tail down the Venomwings ankle. It shirked, and let her go. Burn, to her surprise, whipped around and ran to the dragon. Burn glared at the dragonets. "I'll be back," she hissed, then took off into the smoky sky.

Scorpion starred at the spot where the queen had been. "You alright?!" Active ran up to her. "Yeah, you?" Scorpion replied. Active nodded. They stood there for a while, speechless. Active started towards the clearing. Scorpion glanced at the blood on her tail, looked away quickly, and followed him.

Scorpion almost walked into Active. She stepped back, he was standing at the entrance to the clearing. "What?" She walked affront of him, then stoped. To her dismay, the place that had been a quote on quote "Rainwing Kingdom," where all the Rainwings and the last few Radioactivewings roamed, was a grave yard...

The clearing was covered in ash, and charcoal. What she think use to be hunts scattered the earth. And worse of all, speed out like weeds in a meadow, dragon corps lay everywhere. There must have been more then that because, the bodys she could make out were early even dragons. Most of them were burnt to ashes, with only their bones occasionally sticking out of their crumbled bodys.

A long, long time passed...

Active stared forward. Scorpion swept her tail a front of the dragon. "What are you doing?" She whispered. Active looked at the Sandwing. "This is where the Rainwing, and Radioavtivewings roamed...This is where my parents should be..." Active kept walking, after a long time, Scorpion followed him threw the shadowy forest.

She glanced around, trying not to shrike or cry at the sight of all the disfigured bodys. She flinched a bit closer to Active, who was walking high above the mess, but his eyes shown fear and shame.

This was getting to hard for Scorpion to bare,  to smoke, to bodys, the grey sky, the burnt forest...She hooked her barbed tail around Actives stinger like tail tip. She closed her eyes, her wings still tucked close. Letting Active guid the way...

She almost felt a bit more scared, she occasionally stumble over bones, or clumps of stuff. She every now and then just barely opened her green eyes, then immediately closed them. She wondered if this is how Sightless felt, all the time...Never knowing what lies ahead. She couldn't imagine closing her eyes, and never seeing again. It would be unbearable...She felt a rush of sympathy for the Ice blue dragon.

She felt Active suddenly pull her closer, putting his wing over his back. He probably started to notice how much she was stumbling on the mushes of dragon parts. His scales radiated warm heat, like a Sandwings. She let him guid her way...

Scorpion was examining the remains of a Rainwing hut. It had almost, but not quite fallen of its branch so high up in the air. She spotted a small bag. It was weaved with vines to form a strong strap. Its soft case was woven with what looked like the soft fur a panther. She opened its flap. I held a few berries, and what looked like medical supplies. She flew down, hovering until she spotted Active gazing at a crumpled, but still standing hut just lying on the edge of the clearing. Scorpion dove down to him.

"Hey. I found something," Scorpion landed next to the dragon. He looked at her. "Oh, thats...Cool," he observed. He looked back at the hut. Scorpion followed his gaze. "What?" she tilted her head. Active suddanly shot acid like a Rainwing at the huts door, it simple dropped off life water. "Its acid proof," he observed. "Yes, thank you captain obvious," Scorpion sighed as she took a step closer, and blew a pelm of fire at the door.  Nothing happened...Active have her a disappointed look. "Blowing fire, at a wooden hut?" "...Ẅell" Scorpion broke in. "At least we knew its fireproof?" She gave Ative a shy shrug.

Active tapped in. "How does it do that?" He observed, a bit amused. Scorpion tried scraping it with her sharp barbed tail across the door. It just ended up forming an eerie sound, making them both flinch away. Active blew smoky gas by the door, backed up, and blew fire at it. The cloud blew a blinding yellow-white. But the hut stayed untouched. "Ok!" Active exclaimed. "This time, Ill blow the gas on three, and then, you use your fire to explode it. Ready?" Scorpion nodded. "Ok, one," he backed up, Scorpion followed his talon steps. "Two," Active focused on the door. "Three!" Before Scorpion could process it, the spot a front of the dragons once again, burst into a mess of flames. She shook off her scales, quickly  focusing back on the huts door.

Nothing happened. Scorpion gazed at it disappointedly. Active hissed. "You stupid four mooned door!" Active yelled, throwing a nearby stone at it. As if on cue, the door flew opened. "The heck?!" Active exclaimed. "Pth, knew it the hole time," he scoffed with a roll of his eyes.

The dragon stalked closer to the ajared door. Scorpion followed nearby. Suddanly, something wisseled by her ear. They both jumped. Scorpion backed up, her eyes darting around to find the danger. Active hissed mesensingly, raising his stiner tail, gingerly glaring into the darkened hut.

Scorpion's eyes quickly adjusted before Actives, she was just barely able to make out a rithing shape in the darkness. A long silence hung in the air. The shape took a few steps towards them. The dragon scales were mostly red, dotted with black speckles. A pale green filled her wings and long tail. She had dark purple eyes and grey-blue talons. Some green even carefully lined her neck in a spekly format near the back.

"Who the flame are you?" She hissed...
