Chapter 33

*Rainy's POV*
I got up the next day and ate a poptart while doing my schoolwork, asking dad "the heck does this mean?" on occasion.

I finished my schoolwork and went up to my room to change because I was going with Connor to Mamrie Hart's house because they were filming a collab.

I came back downstairs in a pink skater skirt, a black shirt, and my converse. I got into Connor's car with him and we drove to Mamrie's house.

It didn't take long and before I knew it we were in her driveway. I got out of the car and Connor led the way. I rang the doorbell and a couple of seconds later I heard two people shouting and then Grace (Helbig) opened the door.

"Hey Connor! Oh you brought Rainy with you! She's so cute!!" She said ignoring Connor's outstretched arms and hugging me. She hugged Connor afterwards but he still looked offended, in a joking way of course.

Mamrie came from down a hallway and ran over to us. "Connor!" She said hugging him. "Rainy!" She said hugging me. I laughed and hugged her back.

"We're gonna film right over here I was just setting it up when you came what do you think of this setup?" She asked. I knew she was talking to Connor but I looked at it and thought about it anyway.

I walked over to were she had the camera set up and scooted a plant over a little and walked out. I nodded, "There you go."

Grace laughed. "Okay well let's get started," Mamrie said, clapping her hands.

*After filming*

After they filmed "You deserve a drink!" We hung out with them for a while. I was braiding Grace's hair when Connor decided we were leaving. "Hang on I got to finish her hair," I said sticking my tongue out of my mouth in a concentration face.

Connor laughed and stood with his arms crossed playfully and tapping his foot. I finished her hair and hugged her and Mamrie bye.

We got in the car and when we got back to the house we realized the guys were having a party. Connor sighed and we got out of the car.

I shut my door and we walked inside. The inside of the house was an absolute disaster. Red cups everywhere, everything everywhere, countless things broken.

"Stay here I'm gonna go find your dad," Connor said. I stood by the door and a guy came up to me. "Hey, how old are you," He said with a slur in his voice from the alcohol he had consumed.

"Uh, 13," I said hesitantly. "Well, I'm nineteen, that's only a uh six yeah age difference," He said. I screamed my head off and the whole house fell silent, "STRANGER DANGER!!!!"

Dad came running over and picked me up and put me behind him. "Why are you talking to my daughter and what did you say to her," He asked, his voice strong and steady.

"Man, she's cute I was just talking to her about how there's a six year age differ-" He started but didn't get to finish because with a flash he was pinned to the ground by Dad.

"Don't you ever talk to my daughter again! Do you understand me?" He yelled in the guy's face. The guy quickly nodded and Dad got off of him.

"Party's over everybody leave," He yelled. Whatever man, lame, and numerous other things most of them including bad language, were murmured as people slowly filed out of the front door.
