Chapter 26

I got up and got dressed in a white skirt, a pink shirt with white leggings, and pink converse. I hopped downstairs and hopped up to Dad, my sneakers accidentally making a scuff mark on the floor.

I rubbed my shoe on it and it went away. "Hey daddy? Um, my friend Aaron asked me to go to the movies with him tomorrow night and Connor told me he would go with us, do you think I could go?" I asked.

He thought for a moment, "I guess that would be fine, just ask him what time and everything, and make sure you stay with Connor and don't wonder off." I nodded, "Thank you daddy." I hugged him and went off to find the kitchen, because I hadn't quite memorized the house yet.

I found it and saw Dom outside asleep though the window. Huh. I didn't really like Dom all that much but he's okay I guess, I tolerate him because he's Dad, Jc, and Ricky's friend.

I grabbed Connor's jar of Nutella and spread it on some toast. I'm sure he wouldn't mind.... I sat criss-cross on the counter and ate my toast. Jc came in and noticed me on the counter. "Why are you on the counter?" he asked.

I shrugged and continued eating my toast. He shrugged and went back to making his breakfast. I hopped off the counter and threw my paper plate away. I grabbed my backpack and lunch that I packed last night and went off on a search for someone to take me to school.
