Chapter 42

*Rainy's POV*

I woke up and looked over at my alarm clock to see it was 12 pm. I yawned and got up and walked to my closet. I changed into black jeans, a tshirt, and white converse.

I brushed my hair and everything then grabbed my laptop and headed downstairs. "Hey just so you know you're going to film a collab with Bethany Mota at the YouTube space today so hurry up and finish your school and eat," Dad said. "Oh my gosh for real?? Just me and her collabing? Not with you guys?" I asked. "Yeah," Dad said. "AHH that's so cool!!" I said setting my laptop down and going into the kitchen to grab a poptart.

I sat down at the bar and started my schoolwork and ate my poptart.

*2 Hours Later*

I finished my work and ran upstairs to change. I put on a floral dress and flats then put on a floral snapback. I grabbed my phone and ran back down stairs. "Okay I'll tell Beth we're on our way there," Dad said.

I didn't hesitate to run out the door to Dad's car. I got in the passenger seat and he started driving.

*20 minutes later*

We drove up to a building with a giant play button on it. "Woah," I said staring out the window. Dad stopped the car and I opened my door and stepped out.

"This is so cool!" I squealed. Some people that were getting out smiled. "It's her first time here," Dad explained. They smiled and nodded, "A bit overwhelming isn't it?"

I nodded and we finally got to the door. We walked into this huge lobby. Dad knew where we were going to be filming so we walked over to a set that had a black couch with colorful throw pillows and a fluffy neon blanket on it. There was also a painting behind it.

"Hi!" Bethany said and started running over to me, or at least as best as she could in heels. "Hi!! I'm so happy to meet you!" She said hugging me. This was like a dream come true. "I'm happy to meet you too!" I said. "So what is it that we're filming?" I asked. "Well for my channel we're filming the blindfolded makeup challenge so if that's what you wanna do on your channel too we can do that," She said.

"Okay! Yeah sure that's fine," I said. This was going to be so much fun.

*An hour and a half later*

We finished and had makeup all over our faces and tears down our cheeks from laughing so hard. "That was so much fun," I said, trying to regain my composure and stop laughing.

"I'm so glad I got to make a video with you oh here's my number by the way, just in case you want to hang out sometime, OH I forgot to tell you something hold up. Okay so I'm having a beauty guru sleepover with beauty gurus from all around the world if you want to come," She said putting her number in my phone.

"Sure! That sounds like so much fun!!" I said. She gave me a piece of paper with the address of where she was having it and what to bring etc. She gave me my phone back and I went to go find Dad. Suddenly he jumped out and practically tackled me. "Ow!" I yelled.

He laughed and got up. "What the heck Dad?" I asked. He shrugged and we walked back out to the car. "Oh hey I got invited to this beauty guru sleepover by Beth do you think I could go?" I asked. "Well...I don't know," he said. "PLEASE OH PLEASE ILL CLEAN MY ROOM," I said, pleading.

"I'll talk to your mom about it, did you just say you'd clean your room?" he asked. "Yeah, I really want to go." He laughed, "Okay I'll talk to your mom, when is it?"

"Wednesday," I said. "Okay so today's Monday, so hm I don't think we have anything that we're doing Wednesday," he said.

Then we stopped at the house. I got out and raced Dad to the door, though he wasn't paying attention that it was indeed a race. I opened the door and walked into the living room.

"Mom?" I yelled. "Yeah?" she yelled from the laundry room. "Beth invited me to a beauty guru sleepover do you think I could go?" I asked. "What did your dad say?"

"He said he'd talk to you," I said. Dad walked up then and sighed. "What do you think?" Dad asked. "Well, I don't see a problem with it everyone I know of that's going I trust, like Arden, Arden will be there and loads more trustworthy girls," Mom said. Dad nodded, "Okay you can go, just don't get into any trouble!" he said. "Remember what happened last time you told me that?" I asked, refrencing the time I almost got in trouble by a security guard for riding my penny board around the expo hall at Vidcon.

He laughed, "Just try." I nodded, "Thank you thank you thank you!" I said hugging both of them. I ran upstairs to pack my bag, even though the sleepover wasn't until Wednesday.

*After packing*

I sat down on my floor and looked at my clean room and neatly packed bag. Huh, this was weird my room being so clean. I laughed to myself and went into the hallway to our combined DVD collection. Everyone in the house had agreed to put all our DVDs on these shelves. I grabbed the twilight movies and went downstairs to the living room where no one was. I set the movies down and put the first one in the DVD player then went into the kitchen to make popcorn while the previews were playing. I sat on the counter and waited for the popcorn to finish. I poured it into a bowl and set it on the table in the living room.

I got a sticky note and wrote "Rainy's DONT EAT" on it then went upstairs to put on my twilight shirt and hoodie. I changed into them and went back downstairs to see Trevor on the couch. "Hey, mind if I join you?" he asked. I considered it for a moment, "Eh, sure why not." I sat down and put the popcorn on the cushion between us and pressed play.

*The Next Morning*

I woke up to Trevor's soft snoring from across the couch. I opened my eyes and sat up and saw that the main menu for Breaking Dawn Part 2 was on the screen.

Huh, guess I must have fell asleep. I got up and took out the DVD and put it back in the stack. I walked into the kitchen and saw it was 11 am, perfect prank time.

I got two cans from the silly string stash and an air horn from the garage. I walked up the stairs quietly. I peeked into Jc's room and saw he was still asleep.

"WAKE UP O2L HOUSE!! ITS 11 AM WOO!" I yelled blowing the air horn and spraying the silly string into the rooms. "Rainy Alexandra Lawley!" I heard Mom yell. Shit.

I raced to my room and shut the door then locked it. I heard the pounding on the door. "Come on Andrea it was just a joke," I heard Connor say. Mom sighed, "I'm sorry Rainy, please come out? I may have over reacted." I wearily opened the door and as I did I was squirted in the face with a water gun.

"Aw dude!" I yelled. "Haha! Everyone to the backyard!" Mom yelled. "But we're in our pajamas!" I yelled. "Who cares?"

I shrugged and grabbed my 2 water gun pistols and headed to the backyard for an ultimate pajama water gun fight.
