Chapter 54

I heard the front door open and cheering coming from downstairs. I sighed, that must be Mom and Dad saying they've found the house. I got up from my desk and walked down the stairs. 

"Hey sweetheart, wanna come see the new house?" Mom asked. 

I tried not to show how disappointed I was and nodded, "Sure."

We walked out to the car and drove about 20 minutes to a house. 

"It's three bedroom two bathroom so we'll all have our own rooms but you'll have to share a bathroom with your sister,' Mom said. I nodded. We got out of the car and Dad unlocked the front door.

We walked into a super nice house, just as nice as the O2L house had been. I really didn't want to move out of the house and part ways with all of the guys. I'm afraid Dad and them will all grow apart and I won't get to see them as often. 

"We'll let you choose your own room, go upstairs and pick the one you like, besides the master of course," Mom said. I walked up the staircase and looked around. I came to a room that had double doors. I opened them and was greeted by a room with built in shelving on one wall, similar to Ricky's room back at the house. 

I mentally started planning where all my furniture would go and smiled, maybe this move would be a good thing. Maybe some of the guys would live close to us. I opened a door that led to a closet. It wasn't all that big but I could make it work.

I walked down the stairs and saw Mom and Dad smiling. "Did you pick the one with the shelves on the wall?" Mom asked, like she knew that was the one I would pick.

I nodded, "It reminds me of Ricky." As I said that I felt the tears start to form in my eyes, threatening to spill over. If they started, there would be no stopping the waterfall that would follow. 

Dad could tell I was about to cry so he crouched down and hugged me. "It'll be okay Rainster. You'll be able to stay over with Ricky and the other guys as much as you want, assuming they all live close," He said.

I knew he was trying to be helpful but when he said that last line I couldn't fight the tears any longer. I felt them start to stream down my cheeks, I didn't bother to wipe them away. Mom and Dad both hugged me and we sat there on the floor for a while. 

We eventually got up and I wiped my face. We got back in the car and drove back to the house. When we got there I ran inside. I saw Ricky and wasn't sure whether he was filming or not but I ran to him and gave him a hug. 

"Oh! Okay, Rainy has appeared, say hi to younow," he said laughing. "Oh no I've been crying I gotta leave lmao bye felicia," I said covering my face. He laughed.

"You can start packing now if you want, we're leaving in about a week," Dad said. I nodded and walked upstairs to my room. I looked at the clock, which read 4 pm. I groaned and wished it was night so I could go the sleep and forget this whole mess ever happened. 

But of course that wouldn't happen, it's not like you can wake up from reality.
