Chapter 38

"Wake up bitch! Wait you're not a bitch wake up blue haired 13 year old!" I heard a voice say then felt a pillow hit my head. I looked up to see Jenn on top of me.

"Get the fuck off me," I mumbled. "Language!" Dad yelled. "Fuck off," I mumbled again. "Seriously Rainy, language," Dad yelled again. "Sorry," I said halfheartedly then rolled out of bed.

I turned on all time low and jumped and sang and danced around my room while it played. "If these sheets were the states and you were miles away I'd fold them end over end to bring you closer to me!" I sang while dancing to my suitcase.

I put on an all time low tshirt, shorts, and black converse. I straightened my blue hair, which was fading, and put on one of Dad's snapbacks. I grabbed my phone and slipped it into my back pocket.

"Come on Rainy let's go downstairs to breakfast," Mom said. "Okay," I responded then grabbed my backpack that had my 3ds, phone charger, coloring book, crayons, and a bunch of other random stuff in it.

I slung it over my shoulders and we walked to the elevators. We got to the lobby and walked over to the breakfast area and saw it wasn't too packed, surprisingly.

We got our plates of breakfasts and found a table with people we knew and sat down. "Morning guys, sleep well?" Joey asked us. I yawned and shrugged. "Yeah we did," Mom answered then gave me a look for being rude.

I continued eating. Tyler sat down. "Hey y'all!" He said setting his backpack down next to him. We all said hello and made small talk while eating, but were mainly on our phones.

We finished eating and Dad looked at the time. "Okay well we have a meet and greet in 20 minutes so we'll see you guys later, Rainy you can go do whatever I'll text you when we're done, don't get into any trouble," Dad said.

I nodded, "Okay I'm gonna go find Dan and Phil." He nodded. They left and I texted Dan, "Where u be."

"At our meet and greet."

"Where's that."

"In the expo hall. you'll see it when you get here."

"Okay."

I rode my penny board around the expo hall until I found their meet and greet and rode over to them. "Rainy!" Dan said running over to me. "It's okay, she's a friend of ours," he told the security.

I hugged him then went to hug Phil. "Hi everyone!" I said happily. They all waved their hellos. "You should check out some of the booths here they're really cool," Phil said. "Okay cool, come find me when your meetup is over," I said.

"Bye everyone," I said waving. They all said goodbye and I rode my penny board around the expo hall. I went to the book tube booth and got a bag that said "I read YA," On it. Which was cool.

I went to the younow, Instagram, and a bunch of other booths and got loads of free stuff, which to be honest was my favorite part of conventions, other than meeting viewers.

"Omg! You're Rainy Lawley! Can I get a picture with you?" A girl with blonde and red hair asked. "Sure!" I said. She had a person take it and then hugged me. "Thank you!" She said. "Oh no problem!"

"Also, could you give this to your dad?" she asked handed me a bracelet that said "Kian" on it. "Sure, what's your twitter so I can tell him who gave it to him?" I asked. "@excusemyfangirl," she said. (Shameless self promo.)

"Okay I'll be sure to give it to him," I said. "Thank you!" she said walking away while waving. "You're welcome!" I said then continued penny boarding around the hall.

"Hey! You there!" I heard a security guard say. Crap, dad said not to cause any trouble. "Yes sir?" I said stopping. "You're not allowed to ride that in here young lady," He said. "Oh, I'm sorry," I said.

"Okay, just don't do it again okay?" He said. I nodded and carried it around while walking. "Hey, we're done with our meet and greet," Phil texted to me. (Let's just say their phones work in America.)

I texted him back saying "okay", and walked around to find them. I eventually found them and hugged both of them. "I miss living with you guys, but I'm glad I'm back in America," I said.

Dan nodded, "The first few days after you left it felt weird because it was a lot quieter." We all laughed. "Yeah, I bet it was I tend to be really loud," I said and we started walking around.

We walked around for a while and I got a text from Sam saying, "Kian's phone died so he told me to tell you to meet us at the Taco Bell close to the hotel in about five minutes." I texted him back saying okay and told Dan.

"Okay we'll take you there, we're almost there," he said. "Okay," I responded. We got there about three minutes later and saw everyone was already there. I hugged Dan and Phil and told them bye, then skipped over to the table everyone was sitting at and stepped on my shoelace, causing me to fall into a chair and the chair fell over.

"Ow," I said. Connor came over,"Rainy are you okay?" "I don't know," I said, sitting up. "Ow, shit, my ankle," I mumbled. Connor lifted my leg onto a chair and looked at it. "Probably twisted it but we'll just prop it up onto a chair for now and have someone look at it when we get done," he said.

I nodded and hopped to the place in a booth next to Trevor. Connor pushed a chair up to me and I lifted my leg to put it on it.

"Thanks Con," I said. "You're welcome, you gotta be more careful Rainster," he said rubbing my head, messing up my hair."
