Knock knock

Millie bounced out of bed after waiting 20 minutes for Finn. She ran through the living room and opened the door.

Her smile faded as she didn't see Finn outside, but instead a box. "Ugh.. what?" She picked up the box with an attitude and started towards her room once again.

She attempted to slam the door,  but failed as a pale arm pushed it open, "haha I tricked you mills."

"Haha wanna get out of my house asshole?" She mocked him, laughing in the process. She slightly pushed him but failed, he leaned down to her height and pushed out his bottom lip.

"You're just a wittle baby miwie you can't do anyfing." He said and he kind of blushed, he loves to tease her, especially when she gets mad.

"Butthole." She said while grabbing his arm  and pulling him into the room with the medium sized box under her arm. It caught him to surprise and he almost tripped.

"See I can do somefing." She once again, mocked Finn, when they made it into Millie's room.

"Leave the door open!" David yelled into the room, "yes dad!" Millie replied and closed the door as much as possible.

"Oh yeah... uh that box is from me.." he smiled, legitimately this time, and she could tell. She smiled, trying to prevent her cheeks from becoming red.

"R-really? Why?" She asked with wide eyes, red starting to appear on her face.

"I don't know, just felt generous." He crossed his arms and smirked playfully. "Yeh sure."

"Anyways. Open it millie.." he planted a genuine smile on his face once again as he saw her opening the cardboard box, which was surprisingly in good condition. She sat down for better grip.

Her small grin changed into a big one, in reaction to the purple teddy bear that was inside. "thank you finnieeeee." She hugged it adorably, and Finn felt his heart flutter.

"You're welcome.." he felt the sides of his mouth upturn again and blushed at his sight of the girl in front of him.

She's so cute. ugh. stop it finn. just get to the point already... the dance. homecoming.

He reminded himself in his head.

"Mills stay still, I'm gonna take a picture of you." He smiled and took out his phone, her nodding putting on a big smile, scrunching her nose up.

"And... say cheese!" He said, cringing at his own words. But forgetting about it after she had done what was told. He snapped the picture, and looked at it.

He smiled softly at the picture.

"Ew I look like a mess." Millie said after he showed her. "Pshhh no you don't." He said, trying to sound jokingly, but wishing for her to take it seriously.

"Yeah okay. Sure." She looked away trying to hide her flushed cheeks. "Yeah anyway... so homecoming is tomorrow." Finn walked over to Millie's bed and sat down.

Her heart started to beat faster. "O-oh yeah I forgot." She really didn't, the truth is it has been on her mind since she's found out about it.

"Yeah. Apparently that girl Kelley wants to go with me-" Millie's eyes widened and she felt her heart drop, but he couldn't know so. "-but I don't wanna-" Finn got cut off "oh my gosh you guys would be so cute!" She said trying to hide the pain.

"R-really?" Finns eyes became less bright at those words.

See Finn.. you dumbass she won't like you. She SHIPS you with somebody...

Millie and Finn both sat in awkward silence until Millie replied, "yeah! I've honestly shipped you guys for so long!" She nervously lied through her teeth.

"Oh.. haha." Finn laughed in sadness.

Millie he didn't even deny you shipping them.. he won't ever like you!

"Anyways, who are you going with Millie?" He asked with very pure curiosity.

"Nobody.. probably just Sadie to be honest." She shrugged. "Oh. Okay."

"Okay I'm bored let's uh... watch Netflix?" Finn suggested. "Uh.. yeah! Sure. Let me get my laptop." She reaches over to grab her laptop and fuzzy blanket, her new bear already in her lap.

"Finn do you want a blanket?" He shook his head. "Okay."

She set up her pillows more comfortably, and patted the other side for Finn to lay down. He followed her request and smiled at her when she lied down as well. She returned his action.

After a while of voting.They ended up picking a horror movie. Millie was snuggling with her fuzzy blanket and her teddy bear, while Finn held the laptop in his lap.

They were pretty far away from each other, it not being awkward but just not wanting to invade the others space.

"Are you sure you don't want any blankets?" Millie asked, he nodded at her. "Thank you though" he then played the movie.

"EEEK!" Millie screamed at the jump scare, and snuggled her face into Finns shoulder, not even realizing it.

"It's okay, just remember it's all fake." Finn wrapped his arm around her carefully rubbing her upper back.

"I know.. it's scary though." Her muffled voice tickled finn, but he ignored it and paused the movie. "You good?" He asked. "Yeah, thanks. Also... why are you being So nice all of a sudden? you're normally such a butthole." She laughed, and he shrugged in response.

"Okay I'm gonna play it." He played it after she nodded.

They continued to watch the movie.

They ended up falling asleep, her head on his chest, and his arm still around her back. Her laptop died but they were sound asleep and it was still resting on Finns lap.

"Millie I said to leave the door ope- WHAT THE HELL?!"
