Uh hi again. 😌

|Stood Up|

Millie sat on her vanity, smiling at herself in the mirror, as she curled her short hair. Her third date was tonight with her crush.

She thought it was going to go so perfectly, she strongly believed in that. Her outfit lied on her queen sized bed and it consisted of  a baby blue off-the-shoulder long sleeve shirt tucked into a button up jean skirt. And with that, some short black wedges. She wanted to look cute but still be comfortable.

She was almost done with her hair, finishing her last few strands. When she finished she brushed through it with her fingers to make it look more natural. She smiled at her appearance, her natural makeup making her features stand out boldly and her fluffy hair framing her face well.

"Perfect." She said to herself and got up to change into her outfit.

She closed the door to her car and walked into the large food place, she smiled at the people who passed by her and brushed off some fuzz off of her shirt.

She stood waiting to be assisted in the line, and she looked around at the fancy restaurant. The left side of her mouth upturned as she looked at the pretty place.

"Ma'am?" The waitress grabbed Millie's attention and she turned to her in shock, "I'm sorry, I was just so shocked by how beautiful this place is." She walked over to the front of the line, being the dork she was.

The lady smiled at her, and asked her a few questions. "Is it just you today?" She smiled at Millie and she shook her head politely. "Me, and one extra person." Millie smiled at her and the lady nodded, writing it down. "Okay follow me miss."

Millie smiled at her again, and she let her walked ahead, letting the kind lady show her the seats. She stood by a nice, two person seat in the middle of the restaurant. "This will be your seats for tonight." The lady smiled at Millie one last time before starting to walk off. "Thank you." Millie sat down.

She was a few minutes late already and he wasn't even here yet. I thought he was supposed to be here earlier? It's okay, it's just like ten minutes. You were late too millie.

She reassured herself and smiled, she grabbed the menu that sat on the table, she flipped the page and glanced at all the delicious looking foods.

She even turned to the dessert page and her mouth started to water. She thought she should go to the bathroom and fix herself up a little bit before he got here.

So she set the menu down and walked to the bathroom, that was pointed out quickly because of the large sign guidance. She opened the door to the bathroom and used it.

After she was finished she washed her hands and brought out her makeup bag to fix up her makeup a little bit. She reapplied her lipgloss and fixed her eyeshadow, making it darker. She smiled at her reflection once more and patted down a few fuzzy pieces of hair that stuck up. She walked out of the bathroom.

Once she made it back to her table, she glanced at the line, and she didn't see him. She sighed and folded the napkin over her lap. She fiddled with her fingers anxiously, nervous thoughts entering her brain.
