So here's this, it's super short but oh well, I needed to post.

|Not Changing For You|

Finn sat next to his best friends, and explained why Emily was not there, "she said I had to choose between you guys.. so now.. w-were not together anymore." Finn looked down being shocked, Millie's hand rested on his knee gently, making him look up at her with sad eyes.

"I'm sorry Finn.. if you need us you know we're here." Millie flashed a sympathetic smile, and Finn nodded. "Yes I know. I love you guys." Finn gestured to all his friends, Millie's hand still sitting on his knee, occasionally rubbing it comfortably, leaving warmth.

"We love you Finn." Caleb said, and the others nodded. The group of friends all shared a moment of silence, just flashing each other small smiles and remembering the old times. The silence stopped as Finns phone buzzed in his pocket, making him roll his chocolate eyes.

He read the message and replied to it, then putting his phone back into his pocket. "Guys.. I'm starting to feel a bit nauseous, is it okay if I go home a bit earlier than usual?" Finn lifted himself up from the chair, and Noah nodded. "I hope you feel better Finnie. Goodnight." Millie said, and Gaten waved to him, walking back into the living room. "feel free to use the bathroom!" Noah yelled into the house as Finn laughed, just brushing it off and heading to his car.

He slowly walked into the cold, the quietness taking over the many rooms in this largely elegant house. It was quite freezing in there, and Finn shivered. He watched the blonde girl appear in the hallway, wearing a pair of plaid pajamas, when he leaned against her sofa. "Babe, are you trying to make your house be a giant freezer?" Finn chuckled lowly and Emily walked over to him. "It's nice.. I don't know. Oh yeah.. just curious, where were you again." Emily turned her head In curiosity, and Finn looked at her. "I was Christmas shopping." Finn lied through his teeth.

Emily couldn't find out that Finn went to hang out with them, especially because he lied to her. She'd break up with him right away, and Finn wanted to prevent that. "Oh.. did you get anything, for me?" Emily smirked and walked over to Finn, twirling one of his dark curls around her finger. "Of course." He kissed her forehead. Although, Emily sneakily snuck her small hand into Finns hoodie pocket carefully, pulling out his phone and holding it behind her.

He put himself in a shithole, and there's really no going back up. He could've just told them the truth on why Emily wasn't hanging out with them anymore, but no. He lied, and if they find out somehow they're gonna feel like they can't trust him anymore. Lying is one of the worst things to do.  And he already told Emily he wasn't going to see them. Finn kind of just made his way around it by lying to both of them, trying to retain their relationships, but now he has many deep holes, with very thin temporary bandages covering them.

"Ill be right back Em, I have to use the bathroom." Finn smiled before walking away from his toxic girlfriend. She waited to hear the reassuring click of the bathroom door closing before she opened his phone, unlocking it because she remembered his password.

She looked at his recent notifications and noticed a familiar name that caught her eye,

Mills🤞: hey Finnie, did you make it home safe?

Emily gritted her teeth and reread the message over again, her insides boiled with infuriating anger. Emily was going to confront Finn, but she had to make up an excuse. She heard the toilet flush and she quickly set Finns phone on the couch, where he was originally leaning up against, making sure to place it face up.

"Finn, you have something to explain." Emily said as she watched the curly raven hair appear in the dimly lit hallway.
