I looked up as a familiar black haired Slytherin walked into the Great Hall, and sprinted to my best friend.

"Emmy, where'd you go?" I yanked her into a hug. "I'm sorry Fred did that, I didn't know what was happening. I didn't know. I'm sorry."

"Quinine, it's okay. It's not your fault. I was just gonna come in and eat for a second before I went back to hiding. I'll come visit you tonight. I promise." She smiled sweetly at me and fixed my bangs.

"Okay, but you can't lie to me tonight. Swear on your life?" I knew Em, she would probably try to get out of this.

"I mean I kinda have a death wish but yeah, I swear." I nodded and let her go before running back to my seat. I blew air at my bangs and rested my chin on my hands, which were laid against the table. I wanted to tell Emmy about what happened with Pansy, but I couldn't bring myself to. I wouldn't want to mess up anything or cause drama, but this wasn't the first time this had happened either.... I could tell that Harry and Fred were close to reporting it, but Snape wouldn't do anything to his own house.

"Whatchya thinking about beautiful?"

"No thank you Seamus."

"Got it."

At least he wasn't rude about it, Seamus slid back over to his side of the table as made train tracks in my mashed potatoes.

"You alright, love?" Butterflies, literal butterflies. Well, the butterflies didn't ask me if I was alright, Fred Freaking Weasley did, but what's the difference anyway?

"Yeah, just thinking."

"No, Quinnie, I know that face." he turned my chin so he could examine my face.

"What face?!" I quickly rearranged my features as I realized my eyebrows were knit together and my nose was scrunched up.

"The one you make when you're frustrated and debating flipping a table, stealing a thestral, and skipping town to become a baker in the muggle countryside."

"Okay, yeah so what?"

"Something happened with Pansy again and you don't wanna say anything cause you don't wanna cause drama."

"How do you do that?" I mumbled as I turned back to my mashed potatoes.

"Cause he's in l-" Fred shoved a spoonful of potatoes into Lee's mouth and smiled sheepishly at me.

"You're in what?" Lemurs? Lemmings? Lions? Another animal that starts with an L?

"In last period Divination, I predict it." People were beginning to leave the Great Hall now.

"No you're not? I'm in Divination last period, what's up with you today?"

"Nothing, nothing's up, just a normal day, Freckles!" That was the last straw. He never calls me Freckles. The only person that does that is Draco cause he knows I hate it. Ever since that one time Em tried to get us to know each other. "Okay, yeah, I'm lying," I huffed and looked at him accusingly, "I've actually been meaning to tell you this for a long time, actually, but I've just been really nervous..."

Just then, I was tapped on the shoulder by the headmaster himself, who asked me to follow him to his office. I waved goodbye to Fred who looked nothing short of distraught, but covered it with a smile and a wave. I saw Emerson get up from the Slytherin table, and nodded at her to let her know everything was fine.

"So, Miss Diggory, I wanted to talk to you about these dreams you've been having." What the heck?

"How would you know if I've been having dreams or not?"

"I know everything, Miss Diggory."

"Just call me Quinn, Professor."

"Alright Quinn, tell me about these dreams."

I must have been talking for nearly two hours, but by the time I was done describing my dreams in excruciating detail, per Dumbledore's request.

"Quinn, you have trauma, these nightmares are products of a wild imagination and the bad that you've experienced."

It seemed like the entire castle had quieted, besides the sound of my pounding heart.

"What about the stuff from when Harry was a baby?"

"I assume you saw that because of Harry's prophecy, it's intertwined with yours." I began to speak again, to ask him another question, when he tutted and began to clean up the papers on his desk. "Miss Diggory, I think it's about time you went back to your common room, your escort is waiting for you."

"Wait I have a prophecy?" I stopped myself when I realized that I was already on the spiral staircase back down.

"I figured you might want a walk back to your common room." My favorite ginger was leaning against the wall.

"My knight in shining armour!" I joked, linking arms with him and starting towards the common room.

"So uh, about what we were talking about earlier..."

"Oh yeah, the meeting thing we had the first night? Apparently it's just a bunch of weird dreams, besides the stuff from when Harry was a baby, which Dumbledore says was because Harry and I have "intertwined prophecies"? Whatever that means. Anyway, Dumbledore kind of cut you off earlier at dinner, what were you gonna say?"

"Well I've been meaning to tell you this for a whi-"

"Quinn Rayne Diggory! I've been worried sick! You have classes in the morning!" Cedric was waiting by the barrels that would lead us to the common room. Dammit.

"See you tomorrow Freddie!" I hugged him and followed Cedric into the common room.

Hi so um, I forgot that Monday was a thing(cause its Columbus day, so we had a four day weekend) so I'm sorry about that. Cate hasn't updated in ahot minute cause she's got stuff going on, but don't fear, Skye is here. Have a beautiful day, lovelies!
