~After party clothes~
So basically the rest of the party went without a hitch, Draco and I ended up in a broom closet...finding socks. But we aren't gonna mention that anymore than we have to hehe.
Quinn and I were sitting in the room I had been staying in for the past couple days. Uncle Remus hooked us up with the beanbags he had in his storage closet for us. HE IS LITERALLY THE BEST!
"Okay okay wait, so you're telling me, he didn't mention me in the letter? Not even once?" Quinn said while eating a piece of the chocolates I had gotten.
"Well, not exactly, he mentioned that you did a good job planning my party. But no not really..."
"Okay yeah I know you're his daughter but I'm practically his daughter too! He didn't mention me in either letter, and I'm starting to think he doesn't appreciate my daughtership!"
"He does appreciate you! He just...I don't know, he's scared I think. He mainly rambles the letters. "
"Understandable I suppose... but he's on thin flipping ice!" We began walking to the Great Hall, she opened her messenger bag, and pulled a mirror, which was identical to the one she gave me for my birthday. Wait what?!
"Is that-?" I said while racing to start to look in my own bag, started, worried covered my face and I started hyperventilating.
"No it's mine! These mirrors have a charm on them so when you say my name into your mirror, it shows you the reflection mine is giving, and vice versa, and we can talk through them!"
"Oh no way! That is so cool!"
"I know right!" We arrived in the Great Hall and both put our mirrors in our respective bags and hugged.
"Have fun with your boyfrienddddd!" She winked at me with her grey and blue eyes and looked over at Draco, who might have been looking at me like a sad puppy.
"And you have fun with yours!" She ran off to the Gryffindor table and sat in between the twins. George automatically trying to get her try a new invention they were making. I headed over to the Slytherin table and sat down next to Draco and his 'goons' were sitting across from us. Crabbe and Goyle were stuffing their faces and Blaise looked at them in disgust.
"Would you both please reign yourselves in? You look like pigs." Blaise said with his face turning to a shade of green. Ew, nasty.
"Guys please, I really don't want to throw up my birthday cake. That's now how it should be on a girls birthday," Draco rolled his eyes and grabbed my hand. "Are you alright?"
"I'm fine love. Trying to think of what to wear to the after party." I nodded and took out one of the many muggle pens that were in my messenger bag, and started to doodle on Draco's hand. "Em? What in Salazar's name are you doing?"
"Doodling."
"Why on my arm?"
"Because."
"Alright then." He pushed up his sleeve and let me doodle up his arm. Blaise chuckled and pointed at us.
"Draco, I am afraid to say that she has got you wrapped around her little finger." Draco tensed and flexed his hand.
"So what? It's fine. You'd let your girlfriend do it to you if you could manage to get one." Blaise scoffed and went back to eating his dinner.
By the end of dinner, I managed to draw several roses, a sunflower, daisies, and one small duckling on the inside of his wrist.
"Draco? Can we go and get changed already? I wanna go early so I can say hi to some people." He smirked a little and nodded, basically dragging me out of the Great Hall...Oh no, what does he have in mind?
