"OH MY GOD." Uh oh. I opened my eyes to see Draco glaring up at who I assumed was one of his roommates that I don't know that well.
"Oh shove off. It's not like any of you haven't brought others into your beds. Just because you don't like her, doesn't mean you can be hypocrites." Draco pulled me in closer and held my head against his chest. "Dove, do you want to go down and get breakfast?"
"Yeah, but can they leave? I'm kinda..." He nodded before letting me finish and shooed everyone out of the room.
~BREAKFAST TIME~
It was Sunday morning, and almost no one was actually in the Great Hall. The only people that were in here were a few Ravenclaws, Hermione, Neville, the twins, and Quinnie. I quietly came up behind Quinn and blew air into her ear, scaring her.
"Hey! What's that about?"
"Oh come on, it's done out of love. I haven't gotten to mess with you in a few days, it was time." I took my place beside her and smiled at everyone else. " Hey guys, I hope none of you mind me joining you all today."
"No we don't. You know you're always welcome here. We aren't like some people. I'm sorry, but how can you stand to be in your house? They're all so rude. " Hermione said as she looked up from her textbook. Does she ever take a break from reading?
"Honestly? I can't stand it. But I have to, so I've managed to cope. But not everyone is that bad, some of them are nice..." My toast that I had picked up, had become less appealing with the topic of our houses growing with each second. Luckily, I think George noticed my discomfort and cleared his throat, signaling to her to drop the subject.
"Emmy, how would you like to help us in a little experiment? Freddie and Quinnie are already in on it, but we need another accomplice." There was a flash of mischief in his eyes, and I knew it had to do it.
"I would be delighted. Now, can I have a few details? Is there a specific target in mind, or are we doing a schoolwide thing like the other day?" I will be totally honest, schoolwide hijinks was fun, but targeted was better. I think we can all agree on that.
"Actually, we were thinking about letting you and Quinnie decide on that." Fred piqued up from the other side of the table with a spoonful of scrambled eggs in his mouth. Ew. But, the thought of being able to pick who we prank, was oddly appealing.
Okay something is up, we're never given the option to prank someone of our choice. Well, I normally don't pick who we prank, but that doesn't matter to me. What are they planning, or what happened that might potentially ruin my day?
"Excuse me, I don't mean to interrupt your planning, but I must borrow Miss Black for a few minutes." George's eyes snapped up to above me, where the one and only Remus Lupin stood. "Hello dear, Hi Quinn. How are you doing today?"
"I'm pretty alright..." Fred gave her a look, "a little tired's all, how are you?". Something's up with her.
"Oh it's wonderful, treats me well. I'd love to stay and chat, but we really must be going. Quinn, please stop by soon. I'll make us some tea and we can talk. Emerson, let's go." Remus grabbed my arm and pulled me out of my seat before I even got to grab my toast. He quickly sped off. I looked back and saw everyone staring at me in confusion.
Remus's speed got more intense as we went through the doors. I could barely keep up, my feet kept slipping and making me trip.
"Rem, stop! I can't keep up!" He sighed loudly and slowed down, but barely. Eventually, he pulled me into his classroom and slammed the door shut.
"Emerson Lydia, I am about to ask you something, if I even think that you are lying to me! I will ground you for the rest of your life and refuse to let you leave the house until you graduate."
