Chloe's Apartment
Chloe's Owner: Bye, Chloe! (Exits stage right)
Chloe (after noticing that nearly all of the food from her bowl is gone.): OK, guys. Very funny. You got me. You have till I say three to show yourselves. (Brief pause). Three! (No one appears. She slowly walks over to reveal Hu, a friendly White Bengal Tiger, hiding behind a futon. Gidget enters Stage left).
Gidget: Hey Chloe! What's up?
Chloe: Gidget, we have a problem. (Hu appears next to her.)
(Rooster, Max, Duke, Mel, Buddy and Snowball all enter Stage Right.)
Mel: This could be a problem.
Chloe: You think?
Duke: I thought he want to live with that cat lady. (Looks over at Max, who shrugs.)
Max: I don't know. Maybe just paying us a visit?
Chloe: Then why was he hiding in my apartment?!
Buddy: Why are you asking us that? It IS your apartment.
Snowball: Guys, can we not shout around Hu? You're going to stress him out.
Rooster: How do you guys know a tiger? (Gidget and Daisy, a Shih Tzu enter stage left.)
Mel: Gidget and Daisy are here.
Daisy: What is going on? (Notices Hu). Hu? What are you doing here? He's supposed to be with that crazy cat lady. I'm pretty sure there's a reason why he's here.
Snowball: I agree.
Gidget: I'll go over and see what it is. Pretty sure it's nothing. (Exits stage right)
Rooster: You want some advice to win her heart? Don't try so hard or you'll end up like your friend over here. (Duke mimics Rooster's expression).
Max (slaps himself in the face): Duke, you're embarrassing yourself and me.
