Inside the Big Top
(Liam yells as he enters via Stage right. He lands on an acrobat's pillow. Duke runs over to him.)
Rooster: Are you guys OK?
Liam: Let's do that again!
(The entire Big Top sighs with relief, glad that Liam is OK.)
SONG: My Heroes (Warmly) (Rooster enters Stage Left during the first few measures.)
Liam: Well, Duke. You saved me. Thanks.
Duke: No problem, Liam!
Rooster: For a second, we thought you were a goner.
Liam: A goner? Me? Well, in the end, you both and Max are my heroes, since you boldly saved me from becoming crocodile food.
Duke: That's what heroes do.
Liam (spoken): Well, Duke. I wonder where Max is. Shouldn't he be in this song, too? He's also one of my heroes if he isn't. (Resumes singing in a change of key) And if I was crocodile food
Duke: How sad would that be!
Liam: In the end you are my heroes
Rooster & Duke: Since we saved you from a crocodile
Liam: In the end you are my heroes
Rooster & Duke: Since we saved you from a crocodile
