Inside the Big Top
(Sergei and Big Sergei, a silverback gorilla, enter via Stage Left. Tina, Rooster, Duke, Max and Gidget enter via Stage Right.)
Sergei: Big Sergei, get them (The gorilla charges at Snowball.)
Snowball: Of course, he had a bigger monkey. (Big Sergei wrestles with Tina. In the process, Big Sergei throws Tina onto a lever. A curtain drops down. Liam is tied up in a rope and suspended in the air over a cage.)
Liam: Duke! Max! HELP! (In the cage below, a large crocodile snaps its jaws at him. Max and Duke's jaws drop in horror. The crocodile smacks its lips at Liam. Duke and Max then look like they're going to puke.)
SONG: Crocodile Food (Dramatic)
Max: Do you see that boy tied up in a rope. It's Liam, but it doesn't look good.
Duke: But what is that thing in that cage?
(A crocodile's jaws appear. They snap at Liam.)
Both (gasp in horror): A CROCODILE?!
Max: No way!
Duke: No how!
Both: Will we let Liam become crocodile food! We don't have time to waste! We need to act fast! Or else Liam becomes crocodile food!
(The brothers pace deeply in thought, pondering how to save the little boy.)
Both: Or else Liam becomes crocodile food (4X)
(Song ends)
Snowball: What do you want me to do, Tiny dog?
Max (calls as he exits stage right): Just get Liam and the tigers out of here!
Chloe (looks up at Liam and the tigers): And how are we supposed to do that?
