Inside the Big Top
(Everyone enters the big top from Stage Right. There is no audience. Sergei is cracking his whip. Out of the "found" characters so far, the only ones visible are Hu and Laohu, both of whom are in a cage that is 16 feet in the air.)
Snowball: Right. What's your plan to get pass the wolves and lion?
Max: Look, all we need to do is get our friends out of here. You guys come up with a plan while Snowball, Duke and I distract Sergei's zoo.
SONG: We're Coming, Liam (Fast and Suspenseful)
Duke: Hang on, Liam.
Max: We're coming!
Both: Just stay strong.
Max: We'll save you.
Rooster: Just stay strong.
All: Just stay strong! We're coming as fast as we can! We're on our way.
(Song ends)
Max: Say, where did Duke go?
Snowball: I think he went outside.
Rooster: I think I see him on the roof of that circus train car.
(Max squints closely at the clouded figure.)
Max: No, I think that's a bear?
Rooster: I think you're right.
(Both of them exit stage right to the train car.)
