Inside the big top
(Max, Gidget, Rooster, Snowball and Daisy are inside the big top.)
Daisy: we're going to use her as the bait.
Gidget: Why do I have to be bait?
Snowball: Gidget, the wolves will recognize not only Daisy, but also me and Tiny Dog.
Gidget: I'll do it. (She exits stage left. Blackout.) Lights please. (When the lights come back on, she is on a tight rope, very nervous about being eaten by the wolves. However, she amazes them by walking gracefully along the tightrope. Max watches in amazement.)
Snowball: Hey, Tiny Dog. How about we free a tiger before we ask Gidget out on a date.
Daisy: Let's go. I got the keys. (They arrive at the cage.) Says here her name is Laohu.
(All 3 of them unlock Laohu's cage.)
Max: All right. Now to find a hiding place for these two tigers. (Just then, Gidget, having finished her ballet performance to distract the wolves, enters stage left.)
Gidget: Hey guys!
Max: Hey Gidget! You were great!
Gidget: Aw! Thank you, Max!
