-back to that night-
It was a calm night, not a cloud in the sky, and no noises to be heard. That is what made Shota encourage her to take the night off. She wasn't feeling the best, but had originally brushed it off a a cold. "Are you sure? I would hate for you to be out there alone." I wasn't that she thought her husband couldn't handle himself, it was just the fact that patrolling was boring, and being alone only made it worse.
"I'll be fine Miku sleep, you have had less than me recently." Shota could see the bags under her eyes, apparently one of her preschool child's parents were having financial problems and she had been working on a fun raiser for them. She did this occasionally she hated to see people suffer and would always do anything she can to stop it. It's what he loved about her.
"8 hours of sleep does sound nice." It was only a mumble but he heard it all the same. "Night" Shota kissed her head before leaving out the door.
Miku went and laid down finally getting some much needed sleep. It didn't last long however, around 12 Miku was awakened by an awful feeling. Something was going to happen. She sat there for awhile trying to pinpoint where her bad feeling was coming from but she couldn't pinpoint it.
She got out of bed and grabbed her phone. Quickly calling Shota. Reminding herself to take deep breath, she was fine, and as long as Shota answered he was too.
She started to pace around the house until she found herself leaning on the kitchen counter. "Hello?" He was ok, it calmed her down and made it easier to take deep breaths. "Shota something is wrong." She was still trying to find where her bad feeling was coming from. "What is it?" He was concerned it showed in his voice. Mika couldn't blame him her quirk has always told her what was going to happen, but no matter how hard she tried she couldn't get her premonition out of her house. "I don't know, that's the problem, something is going to happen, but I can't tell what, or who it will affect."
She could hear the wind blow from her spot in the kitchen. It was so loud it almost sounded like it was inside the house. "I'll be carful, tell me when the feeling goes away. Make sure to be carful yourself" Miku was distracted, the bad feeling got worse and worse. "Ok I wi-" suddenly a hand went over her mouth as the other shut off her phone.
The figure dropped her phone as her moment of surprise ended. She elbowed the intruder in the gut before spinning around and kicking their feet out from under them.
This was bad she could tell, she didn't have her capture weapons and she was tired. Miku could only hope her husband would rush home and make it in time. The figure took out what appeared to be a gun and pointed it at her.
He shot it but She managed to dodge it by going through the door to the living room. The bullet hit the wall. The kidnapper not far behind. She finally got a good look at the guy. He was tall and had black hair. She didn't have enough energy to freeze him. She would have to borrow some from something.
her plant, living things were the only things she could use so she always kept a plant at hand. It was located in the kitchen. She was in front of the TV when the guy sent a punch her way. She dodged and he hit the tv braking the screen into peaces. "That was brand new." She mumbled as she dodged another hit.
Instead of her he hit a table and sent her fundraiser paperwork flying all over the floor. "Hey!" Miku had spent hours working on that and she didn't appreciate it being thrown on the floor.
She grabbed the man's arm that just knocked her papers on the floor and swung him over her right on top of the table braking it. She made a run towards the door to the kitchen which was left open, when a gust of wind blew the couch on top of her. It caught her by the foot causing her to fall to the ground. She looked threw the kitchen and saw the plant. She focused really hard taking the time the plant had left. She watched the plant die before turning to her trespasser.
She was about to freeze him before he shot her right in the arm. She screamed but She quickly realized it didn't hurt as much as it should have. She shook it off and attempted to freeze the man but it wouldn't work. Her quirk wasn't working.
Before she could do anything else the man grabbed her hands and shoved a rag up to her mouth. The last thing she heard was someone messing with the lock on the door.

It was kinda cold but not uncomfortable. Miku knew before she opened her eyes that she was in a bed. As she led there, with still not enough energy to open her eyes she listened. Breathing, someone else was in the room. About a yard away to her left she believed. She was fully alert now trying to figure out what to do. She remembered what happened and she was trying her best not to freak. "I know you are awake so might as well stop pretending." And there went her only advantage.
Things were not looking good for Miku.
