It had been a few years, and everything had worked out. Miku had gotten a really cool robotic arm, that attached right onto her elbow. That always had her bow and arrows at the ready. Never would she be caught without it.
It always amazed the kids when she would tell the story of how she got it. In a more kid friendly version of course.
"So what happened to the big bad villain?" She had just finished the story for the 5th time that year, and the kids always had the same questions.
Then again Law enforcement had been left with the same question at the time to. What do you do with Overhaul, who was now an infant? Surly you couldn't throw the child in a jail cell.
In the end, it had been Miku who proposed the idea. They found a hero family in Germany who couldn't have children, and gave the infant Overhaul to them. They had promised to give him a new life. One where he would grow to live quirks instead of hate them.
"Well, He is out living a proper life with a family that loves him, just like you all are." Miku had always tried to put important themes in her story. Like forgiveness. Even though she had wanted Overhaul to pay for what he did, she recognized that that Overhaul is dead. The only thing left was a child, who deserved a fresh start in life. So that's what she purposed.
The children always went nuts over her story. The big bad villain who turned into a child, the strength the hero shows even while in pain, the monsters who tried to get her to follow them, and the brave hero jumping to save the green kid while sacrificing herself. They loved it all, but the best part was the princess who saved everyone with her quirk which she believed to be a curse.
Of course they knew none of it was true, Ms. Aizawa was just telling a story, but they still found it magical.
"And the Princess? What happened to her? Did she ever find her family?" Miku got a warm smile on her face looking up from her group of children, and a few teachers, who poped in to listen, to the picture on her desk. One of three people on the beach, a black haired grump she called her husband, herself, and her daughter, a nine year old, white haired girl who had a gigantic smile on her face.
"The Princess lived happily ever after..." all the kids seemed to finish her sentence for her.
"The end!"
