My Secret Heart

Chapter 3

As Louis opened the door, those four boys, I had heard so much about, how much rage I had for them, came tackling down on Louis.

Of course me being a girl, I thought they were hurting him and yelled "What the heck?! Get off of him!!" I started pulling Louis out of their tackle.

They all looked at me weird. Louis started laughing "Its alright, it's just our hugs we give!" he told me with a smile.

After some little gibber talk, the boy with the dark brown hair and blonde streak came up and shook my hand "Hey I'm Zayn" he said in his british accent.

"Hi Zayn" I said faking a smile.

Next, the lighter brunette came up and took my hand "Hello lovely, I'm Liam, it's nice to finally meet you, Louis has told us so much about you!" he said. He seemed nice.

"I have heard allot about you as well" I replied back.

After Liam, the one with the curls smiled at me coming a few steps toward me,

"I'm Harry, you probably already knew that though" he said winking at me. I could tell he was the flirty one.

"Actually no, I didn't" I spoke plainly.

"Oh, well now you do, and I can't wait to get to know you better" he said shocked at the fact I didn't know his name, but still smiling.

Then the blonde one took a few steps and looked at me with a huge smile. Wow he had the most gorgeous blue eyes I had ever seen! His smile was too cute for me not to crack a little smile. Wait no! I will not think that about one of the guys that took my best friend away from me! Never!

"Hi...ii.. I'm... Niall.." he said stumbling over his words, but still with a smile.

"Hi Niall, I'm Maggie" I said bluntly.

"Nice to meet you" he said shyly, looking into my eyes and then looking away quickly. I just shook my head and looked away.

I can't wait for this day to be over!

"So guys what do you want to do first?" Louis asked.

"Eat, I'm starving" Niall said.

"Of course you are" Louis said with a little chuckle at the end.

He threw Niall a bag of chips and we all sat down on the couch.

Louis looked at me with a smile. I looked up at him with confusion and he shrugged.

"So who wants to watch a movie" Lou asked.

"I do" Three boys chimed in. Except Niall who was chomping down on his chips.

I couldn't help but notice he keep looking over at me, and everytime I would catch him, he looked away turning red. Gosh he was annoying. Why did I have to spend as long as they were staying..wait how long were they staying?! I decided just to break the argument of what movie to watch.

"So when..." I trailed off correcting myself "I mean, how long are you guys staying?" I asked hoping no one caught my first choice of words.

"However long we want to stay, I guess" I think it was Liam that answered my question. I would never get their names right, and I really didn't care.

"Oh" I said.. I had nothing else to say.. I wanted them to go home as soon as possible but instead they were leaving whenever they wanted to. Which, I think would be a long while.

They all looked at me funny as my reply was just 'oh'. I didn't care, what they thought. I don't like them, and they don't have to like me. In fact I would prefer it if they didn't like me.

The day continued with my mouth being shut almost the whole entire day so I wouldn't say anything rude. As it was beginning to get dark I decided I had enough and wanted to go home.

"Well it's getting dark, so I think I will head home" I said looking at the ground.

"Ok, I'll take you home" Louis said standing up to grab his keys.

"Thanks" I said with a small smile.

"I will be back in about 10 if that's alright with you boys" he said looking at the four lazy boys lying all throughout the living room.

"Sounds good mate" Zayn, yeah I'm pretty sure it was Zayn who said that.

"Let's go" Louis said leading me to the door.

"Bye Maggie" all the boys shouted out at me and waved goodbye.

"Bye" I said back. I looked one last time over at Niall and he was looking at me again! Geez, that boy! As soon as his eyes met mine he turned his head like a flash of lightning.

When we got in the car he turned the keys and started driving.

"Do you like the boys, I really think we are going to have a ton of fun this next few months with them" he said so happy. Did he just say months?!? Months?! Oh boy....

"Yeah they seem" I paused "Nice" I finally came up with a nice enough word.

We pulled up my drive way and he led me to my door. Louis told me to text him tomorrow and we will make plans for the day. I told him ok, he gave me a quick hug and walked a quick past to his car and drove off. Finally alone time, time to think things out.
