My Secret Heart

Chapter 5

I didn't know why, but I think I might be getting use to one direction. I didn't think I ever would, but Niall was so sweet. The other boys seemed nice as well. I guess I shouldn't start thinking that way until I have got to know them a little more than, just not even a day yet.

As me and Niall walked to the table all of the boys eyes were on us. I had no idea why. We just went to go throw away trash. It was so strange. We sat back down at the table and I decided to break the awkwardness, as they were all staring at us two.

"So what are the plans for today" I looked at Lou with a 'what the heck' face.

"Oh, we were thinking about maybe bowling or something?" Louis told me in a questioning voice.

"Oh that sounds like fun" Niall chimed in. I was terrible at bowling! The last time I bowled, I hit my friend with the bowling ball!

"Ok" I said. I wasn't going to ruin there fun just because I couldn't bowl. I would just sit out and watch.

"Okay, so how about we all pile in Harry's car and head over?" Zayn suggested.

"Alrighty, sounds like a plan." Liam said standing up from the table.

We all walked out the donut shop and to Harry's car.

"We are going to have a awesomely fun day today, aren't we" Louis said so exited.

I looked at the ground and looked back up to him, "Yeah a ton of fun" I said smiling at him.

It made me so happy to see him so happy to have all his friends here. Yeah I missed being able to just spend time, me and him, but he was so happy, I didn't want to destroy it. I'm sure we would have time to spend, just us, sometime during these next couple months. I decided I was going to have fun, be friends with these guys, and make the most of it. After all I was with Louis, and that's all that mattered.

We all smushed into the car. I was practically sitting on top of Louis. I apologized to Niall as he was crammed against the door. It was a very uncomfortable eight minute ride.

When Harry stopped the car we all plopped out, fresh air and some space to move around.

We all headed inside and got a bowling lane "Aren't you going to bowl, Maggie?" Liam asked me.

"Nah, I'm not too good." I said.

"Psh none of us are, come on! Grab some shoes and a ball, let's go!" Harry told me. I didn't want to, and for the safety of them all, it probably was a good thing too.

"You know what guys, I'm not feeling so hot. I think I will just sit and watch with Maggie" Niall told them. What was he doing? Did he really feel bad? Oh well, I guess it's someone to talk to while they were bowling. It could be fun, until he threw up on me or something.

Louis put on his shoes and instantly fell down. Who knows why, but he did. "Lou, you ok?" I asked laughing alittle, grabbing his hand to help him up.

"Ugh duh. I did that on purpose you know" he started turning red. I couldn't help but laugh. My best friend was so goofy.

"Hey by the way bet on me to win, ok?" Lou whispered in my ear so the other boys couldn't hear.

"Gotcha" I said giving him a thumbs up as he walked to go be the first to knock some pins down.

It was kinda awkward as me and Niall just sat there watching them, until finally he said something.

"You know I just sat out so I could talk to you, right?" he looked at me smiling.

"You did? W..why? Don't you want to go play, and have some fun?" I asked, I was so confused why would he do that?

"Well like I said earlier, you seem really cool, and I want to get to know you more, and I will have fun, here, with you" he told me with a big smile. He was so sweet. I didn't know what to say.

"That's so, sweet thank you" I told him with a big smile as well.

"So why didn't you want to bowl?" he asked

"Well, the last time I bowled I hit my friend with the bowling ball. I stink at it" I stated. He started laughing at what I told him.

"The last time I bowled, I split the ball in half" he laughed even more. I started laughing too

"Oh my gosh! How is that even possible?" I asked in shocked.

"Its only possible if your Niall James Horan" he told me. His middle name was James, that was cute. It fit him, I liked it.

"Well its a good thing we both aren't bowling" I laughed a little more. Niall was funny, and he was super sweet. I had a feeling him and I would become good friends. We talked their whole game through, till finally we were cut off from our conversation, by Louis yelling and doing some crazy dance, because he won. All the boys looked put down, sense they lost.

"I told you, Maggie! I told you I would win" he yelled at me. I just gave him two thumbs up and a smile. Me and Niall stood up and headed out the door with the rest of the boys, pilling in the car and headed for Louis flat.
