Chapter 8

The car ride was kind of silent as I wasn't really in a mood to talk. I didn't want to be this way with Niall. Part of me just wanted to go home, but I didn't want to just leave him hanging without anything to do today. Justin Bieber's "As Long As You Love Me" came on and I cheered up a little bit. I loved Justin Bieber, his songs were amazing. I started singing and Niall turned it up. As it got the chorus Niall started singing along as well.

"I didn't think you would know this, considering its Justin Bieber" I told him in shock, cutting him off from his singing.

"Well yeah, I really like him. He's a awesome singer and absolutely incredible remodel" he explained. I was in absolute shock. I had never met a guy who liked Justin. It brightened up my mood just a little bit.

"You know the rap?" he asked.

"Sure do! Do you?" I asked him.

"Yup! Let's rap it together!" he said.

As Big Seans rap was coming up we were getting prepared to start rapping. We continued to sing along and then started rapping really loudly together. "I don't know if this makes sense, but your my halleluiah, give me a time and place...." We kept rapping till the end. After it was over we bought started laughing and he looked over at me smiling.

"You're a pretty amazing rapper" he said winking at me.

"As well for you!" I told him.

After "Payphone" ended we stopped singing. The next song that came on was "Look After You" my mood instantly changed. This was Louis favorite song. He always use to sing it to me when I felt sad. I became sad and mad again. I tried to hold it in, and get through the song, but I didn't make it long.

"Um.. Niall.. Can we change the song?" I asked stumbling over my words.

He looked at me kind of funny and replied "Yeah sure"

"Thanks" I said and I looked out the window trying to forget how weird that must have been for him. I sighed. Why couldn't I just let this whole Louis thing blow over, at least till I got home?

We arrived down town and Niall took me in Jack Wills, it was a nice store, I always liked going in and looking around, but I never bought anything. Niall ended up buying a couple shirts. Then we headed over to Hollister, I loved this store even though they could be expensive sometimes. I looked at a few things.

"Get whatever you want, it's on me" Niall told me.

What was he thinking? "Oh no, it's ok" I was not going to let him buy anything for me.

"Yes I want to do this for you, please" he told me.

"No I will not let you do that" I told him and headed over to the shoes. I was looking through them when I saw a pair of red toms. My mind instantly went to Louis. He loved toms, especially his red ones. I became sad again. I decided I was done in the store. I told Niall I was done looking and we left the store. We were about to walk into a shoe store when Niall grabbed my arm and stopped me at a bench.

"Maggie, what's wrong?" he asked me. How did he know something was wrong? Was it really that obvious? I just looked him in the eyes for a little while and finally told him.

"Nothings wrong." I lied. It was such a big lie. I didn't want him to know. I didn't know what he would think.

"I know that's a lie." Man he was good! "You know you can tell me anything. I'm here for you, that's what friends are for" he said. Just the last part of that made me hurt inside...Louis... I didn't know if I should tell him or not.

"I got in a fight with Louis" I finally told him, as I sat down on the bench.

He looked shocked and confused.

He sat down next to me "I'm sorry, what happened?"

"He called me and asked if I wanted to hang out with him and the rest of the boys but I told him I couldn't, because I was spending the day with you" I continued on, "Then he got mad and told me he didn't want me to go with you. I told him I was going, he wasn't in control of me, and he started yelling at me." I explained "I don't even know why he is acting this way, I can have other friends besides just him."

Niall looked at me like he was lost. "Wait, so Louis is mad that you are hanging out with me today?" he asked.

"Yes, I don't understand why" I told him. He just looked at me for a while. "Me and Louis have never been in a fight like this, I don't know what's going to happen" I continued, as tears started filling my eyes.

"It's going to be alright, we will work this out, I promise" he told me pulling me into a hug. He was so comforting, I felt like everything was better in his arms.

I tried to hold back my tears as much as possible. "Do you think he doesn't want to talk to me ever again?" I asked Niall so worried, as I buried my head in his shoulder.

"Oh no! Defiantly not. He was probably already ticked off this morning or something." He told me.

When we pulled out from the hug I could tell Niall had concern and a little anger in his eyes. Was he mad? Why would he be mad though? So many thoughts trampled my mind. Did Niall know something I didn't? No he couldn't have, because I could tell as I was explaining to him, he looked confused.

"So what should I do?" I asked him. I wanted to fix whatever was going on with Louis and go on with my life and not stress over it.

"Well.. um how about you call him" he told me. I was scared to though. But I did it anyway.

I pulled out my phone and dialed Louis number, I had it memorized. It rang three times and then went to voicemail. Did he just reject my call?

"Niall, he sent me to voicemail" I told him worried.

"Don't worry. I'm sure he has a good reason."

"Yeah, like him being mad at me" I told him. "I have to go to the bathroom. When I get back how about we head to get pizza or something?" I asked.

"Yeah sounds awesome" he told me with a smile. When I was started walking away he stopped me, "Hey don't worry about Louis, let's have some fun the rest of today, ok?" he told me.

I smiled at him "I agree, let's not let this ruin our day" and I walked off to the bathroom.

NIALL'S POV:

I wondered why Louis was acting this way. It made me sad to see Victoria like this, she was really upset and worried. I decided I would give Lou a ring and see what's going on. It rang a couple times and when I figured I was going to voicemail, he picked up.

"What do you want, Niall?" Louis asked sounding really annoyed.

"I want to know why it's such a big deal me and Maggie are hanging out today. She is really upset you know" I explained.

"Oh don't even act like you don't know" I could tell he had anger in his voice, he was getting mad.

"Lou, I don't know" I told him softly.

"All the times I told you story's about her, all the times I told you how beautiful and caring she was" he told me. Wait, was he going where I thought he was going with this? "I see the way you look at her, Niall and I don't like it. I've known her for much longer and deserve her more than you" he told me with so much anger in his voice, I though he was going to break his phone. I guess I never really relised he liked her more than a friend.

"Louis, sorry I nev-" he cut me off.

"Stay away Horan, or this won't turn out good at all" I could tell by his tone of voice he was about to break a wall.

What did he have planned? He can't just keep me from being friends with her. That wasn't going to happen....
