Meliodas stared at Elizabeth who had a blank expression on her face.

"Fine, if it's come to this then I'll tell you."

The jig was up, it was finally over.

" as you read on the paper your mom was killed in a car accident by my teacher and his friend with me and my little brother, Zeldris." Meliodas sighed

" but, the thing is you were in the same car as your mother when she died, and honestly you weren't supposed to live either, you both had to die in order for me and this mafia to rise up to the top with no one in our way." He added

Elizabeth paused. " Is this seriously what he's been hiding?"

" so when they offered for me to become the new head...?" Elizabeth muttered

"I knew that you were gonna find out the truth." Meliodas nodded.

"And this is the truth and nothing but the truth?" Elizabeth questioned

Meliodas eyes looked deeply into hers, then nodded.

Elizabeth had put on a serious look on her face then looked down at the paper in hand finally she ripped it.

Looking back up at him, she grinned then said "how'd I do?"

"Huh?"

She played him... SHE PLAYED HIM.

"I was bluffing, did you actually think I was gonna give up just like that, haha, you should've seen your face!" Elizabeth laughed.

"Excuse me?"

Meliodas looked so confused, it was not ok.

"Yeah, besides I love you too much to leave your side, besides I promised I'd stay by you, and I'm living up to that." Elizabeth added.

Meliodas took a sigh of such great relief., as he then pulled her closer towards him.

" but there's one thing I wanna know." Elizabeth spoke.

He looked up at her.

"If I end up getting the archangels mafia, will you take over for me?" Elizabeth questioned

"What you don't want to run it?" Meliodas inquired.

Elizabeth smiled once more and then replied "I'm a simple doctor,I have no business being involved with that kinda stuff, besides its in your job description."

Meliodas chuckled then patted her head "anything thing you say, babe."

Elizabeth and him shared a kissed a short yet passionate one before she left him to do his daily duties with nothing on his mind.

With the children~

At school is where they were at, it was lunch time, so at their table is where they sat.

(Ooh that rhymes, lemme leave that in....)

" Cassie, Ace, are you two ok?" Violet asked taking a bite out of her salad.

"Yeah I guess so, why?" Cassie nodded.

" you're so quiet and you aren't yelling at Ace for stealing your food."

Besides her Ace was shoving his face with her triple chocolate cookie.

But he wasn't rejoicing in his success of thievery, just a blank stare.

"It's fine I'll buy her another one..." Ace spoke as he took another large bite.

Soon Cassie got up and walked out of the lunch room.

"I'm not worried,she'll bounce back, she always been one to do so." Harley interjected as he watched her figure leave.

"Yeah, right," Violet half smiled

But soon he too got up and followed.

In the hallway just outside of the cafeteria is where Harley found Cassie.

" oh hey Harley..." Cassie spoke as she looked up at him.

"Are you good?" Harley questioned looking dead in her eyes.

" yeah I'm totally fine." Cassie answered.

"Well you don't look like it, here..." Harley uttered

As he then used his hands to stretch out a smile on her face.

"See you look happier already." Harley chuckled.

Cassie then began to giggle.

" thanks for that, Harley."

"Of course, besides there's something I've been wanting to ask for a while now..." Harley paused

"W-what is it?" Cassie stuttered.

"Saturday do you wanna come with me to an ice cream shop, you don't have to if you don-"

"No, no, I'll come." Cassie dismissed

"Alright, let's head back shall we?" Harley suggested

Cassie nodded as the two walked back to their lunch area.
