Third POV
Ace and Cassie finally returned home after a long and hectic day at school.

"Hey kids, how was school?" Elizabeth greeted.

She was making dinner.

"It was alright." Cassie shrugged.

Ace didn't say anything though.

For some reason he was still thinking about Catherine... normally he wouldn't let girls stray in his mind like Catherine did so what was so special about her?

"ACE!" Cassie spoke loudly as she shook her twin.

"Huh? What?!" He shouted, snapping out of what was like an everlasting trance.

" are you ok, hon?" Elizabeth asked staring at him.

"Huh-oh yeah I'm good, just a bit tired." Ace shrugged

" alright, we'll eat dinner first then you may be excused to go to your room." Elizabeth replied, giving him a plate filled with food.

He only nodded.

Finishing up quickly he said goodnight to everyone and headed upstairs.

The next day~

It was Tuesday, and quite frankly Ace was excited about it.

After school it was training day.

Once a month he and Cassie would go against his dad to see how well he did, after all they were next in line.

"Well someone seems to be in a better mood, how come?" Cassie asked, they were at the kitchen island eating breakfast.

"It's training day." Ace answered "just another way to prove that I'm fit to take over Sin mafia!"

"It's kinda scary to see how enthusiastic you are about this." Elizabeth giggled.

" yeah well He should be excited however I'm taking it over, tell em' dad." Cassie disagreed, asking Meliodas who was enjoying his coffee.

They all looked over at him.

" look, you both are 15 and so this will be your last evaluation test, so I'm gonna be mixing this up a bit, whoever scores the highest will be the one taking over, no take backs, besides there's always ARC mafia." Meliodas shrugged

"Yeah but no one wants that- no offense mom,
But we've had a lot of bad memories because of it." Ace added.

Elizabeth just dismissed it.

" well there's no point arguing over it, cmon Ace the limo is here."  Cassie quickly spoke, shoving the last strawberry in her mouth.

At school~

In 4th period is were ace and violet were, the others having a different classes than everyone else.

"E...CE..ACE!" Violet called.

"Huh? What?" Ace snapped, as he looked over to her.

"I have to say something." Violet sighed.

Ace put on a grin, as he then said " look your brother is dating my sister, it'll be awkward for all of us."

Violet rolled her eyes " stop that lover boy, I was talking about the project- speaking of which you've been spacing out ever since you met Cathrine whats going on?"

Ace shrugged.

"If you wanna talk I'm right here." Violet spoke, somewhat seriously.

Ace fake laughed " very funny, but I don't do serious talk."
