Third POV

It was 5:00 pm, as Cassie and Ace were dropped off by Elaine,From her place.

Elizabeth and meliodas were both upstairs in their bedroom having a good time with one another.

As it turned out Elizabeth's secret home wasn't so secret as she discovered Meliodas had came to pick her hair o.

"Bye auntie!" Cassie waved as Diane pulled out of the driveway.

When ace and Cassie walked in they saw that the place was cleaned up.

"Odd... didn't know dad had a secret cleaning hobby..." ace pointed out

"Yeah let's head-" Cassie was interrupted by something from upstairs.

"You heard that right?" Ace questioned.

Cassie nodded, so she wasn't hearing things.

Then they heard it again except a bit more clearly.

It was a moan.

" mom isn't here, is she?" Cassie whispered

Ace walked back to a window then looked back at the driveway.

He shook his head.

They then paused,as they came to an and only possible explanation.

He's a cheat.

Yes you heard me, they think their dad is a cheat.

They then rushed up to ace's room, since it was farthest room from their parents bedroom.

"Oh.my.god. Is this why mom was so angry at dad?!"Cassie exclaimed

" I know how could he do this to us?" Ace added.

The two pondered in though for a possible motive for this.

" I've got nothin'." Cassie shrugged.

"Me neither, but do you hear that?" Ace spoke, as it got quiet all of a sudden.

Cassie shook her head.

They then waited a moment finally heading out of ace's room.

They then went downstairs, and sat on the couch.

"It just hit me, what whoever dad might be cheating with gets pregnant, then what?" Ace said imma shock.

"I'd look dad in the eye and refused to acknowledge the child as my sibling, besides I only have one sibling and one only, you." Cassie answered

Ace smiled "aw I didn't know you cared about me like that."

"I don't, shut up." Cassie protested as she turned her head away from him.

Though they had pushed the burning thoughts to their back of their head, until 12 minutes later.

They heard keys dangling at the front doors.

And in came Elizabeth with food in her hands.

" MOM!" Cassie and Ace shouted, as they bolted off the couch.

" hey you two, I'm guessing you missed me." Elizabeth asked with a smile eminent.

They only hugged their mom tighter.

"Ok, that's enough crushing my organs, call your dad, wash up and let's eat." Elizabeth spoke as she made her way to the dining table.

Then they paused, with blank faces.

"What's the matter with the both of you, chop chop I'm hungry." Elizabeth added.

"Right, let me go get him." Cassie snapped, as she to en hurried off upstairs.

"So Ace how have you been?" Elizabeth questioned as she got out plates.

"Great!" Ace grinned.

A bit too much.

"Stop grinning like that, you look like the Cheshire Cat." Elizabeth commented.

"Sorry about that." Ace nervously chuckled.

Soon Cassie came down with meliodas.

Elizabeth and Meliodas had a quick peck, as they then began to eat.

Ace and Cassie just picked at their food, as a downcast expression was casted into their face.

Taking a forkful of her roasted seasoned potatoes Elizabeth looked at them.

"What's the matter with you two, you are never this quiet."

"Mom..." Ace and Cassie said in unison.

Where they gonna really say that dad was cheating?

No... they couldn't, they didn't want to see their usually happy go lucky mom upset.

If they got more proof then they would eventually have to.

" actually it's nothing it's just that this has been a pretty long week and we're really happy." Cassie smiled.

"And I guess we just don't know how to express it." Ace brushed it off.

"Well that's true now, does anyone want to tell me why when I came home earlier the place was a pig stein?!" Elizabeth questioned angrily.

"Uh oh..." Cassie and ace sweat-dropped.

"Let's all let this go because you love us so much and don't wanna hurt your precious angels?" Meliodas nervously smiled

"Elizabeth then looked under her plate then under the table.

"What are you looking for?" Ace questioned

"I'm looking for the precious angels cause' all I see are train-wrecked demons." Elizabeth answered

" I'm offended, and I've never actually be offended before." Meliodas said placing his hand on his chest.

"Oh be quiet, anyways I'm going to make cream puffs I've been in the mood for em'." Elizabeth giggled getting up from her chair.

"Ah, so you are going fill those up liked I did with you earlier this evening?" Meliodas snickered

Big mistake as he ended up with an ass whipping and no cream puffs.

But for Cassie and Ace they took a sigh of relief, for once they were glad their dad made a comment like that.
