Third POV

Cassie was in the passenger besides her mother who had a face of slight disappointment.

"I'm sorry mom, I-"

Cassie tried speaking, but she was hushed by Elizabeth placing up a finger.

Cassie put her head down, but then felt a hand rub her head.

" I'm not mad if you're wondering, I'm just really irked by what that woman said- about raising you." Elizabeth sighed.

Cassie paused, and knew what her mother was feeling.

But she knew her mother wasn't to be blamed.

"Mama."

Thats all Cassie said before she smiled and snuggled back into the seat.

Soon she was abruptly jolted forward as a hand was placed across her chest in a defensive motion.

Elizabeth honked her horn angrily muttering something along the lines of " what the hell is wrong with you?"

That's when Cassie noticed it, the people in front were the Simmons.

Rolling her eyes Cassie looked back at her mom.

"Anyways mom, will you-Y'know tell dad?" Cassie questioned, staring at her mom who was beginning to draw her arm down.

" I'm not gonna he's probably gonna say that it wasn't your fault anyways that also, let's not forget Harley is in this mess and we both know how you-know-who will get." Elizabeth chuckled.

Cassie sweat dropped "yeah that would be better for all of us."

Timeskip at home~

Cassie was home alone, since Elizabeth had to get back to work, putting away her stuff and heading up to her bedroom.

She plopped herself onto her queen sized bed, as she sighed.

" why is life always kicking me in the butt?"

Moments later light puffs emerged in the silent room.

She fell asleep.

Timeskip evening~

She woke up to knocking on her bedroom door.

It was dark as her eyes adjusted to the room that was going from dark to dim to full on brightness.

She opened the door, to see Ace.

"Come downstairs it's time to eat."

Cassie rubbed her eyes and nodded as she then went downstairs along with him.

When she finally made it to the bottom she saw only Elizabeth and Meliodas.

Meliodas turned to look at Cassie, his face blank, which kinda made her a bit nervous.

She was gonna assume the fact that he already knew what exactly happened.

He then got up and walked towards her, pausing right in front.

He then hugged her.

"Uh dad, you good?" Cassie questioned weirded out.

" yes, I'm so proud, my daughter finally landed some punches." Meliodas shook.

"Wait you knew about what happened? And you aren't mad?" Cassie questioned.

"Of course and Nah, I just didn't feel like going, however don't do that again, if you wanna take it out on someone go take it out on kick boxing man in the gym." Meliodas added.

Cassie grinned before they headed back to the dinner  table.

She was quite relieved to know that everything worked out in the end.

She got her karma and so did Tina and everyone else.

But speaking of everyone else Cassie was wondering how Harley's holding up, after all he did have to take a portion of the blame because of her.

So she decided to call him after eating.
Timeskip after dinner~

"Night, mom, dad!" Cassie waved as she headed upstairs.

Once in her room she changed and then turned on her phone.

1 unknown missed call
1 video call from: Harley 🔥🥵

She then called him back as he immediately answered on the second ring.

(Y'know the drill... but do you know the hammer?)

C: hey.
H: good evening, what did you do all day?
C: *snicker* I fell asleep until ace called me for dinner, then I saw your call so..
H: that sounds like a relaxing way of being sent home of disorderly conduct.
C: true. So what happened while I was gone?
H: wellllll, first of all get comfortable cause I have a lot to say.

They ended up chatting for 2hrs and 15 minutes
C: *yawn* it's late and we still have school tomorrow, so night'.
H: alright, goodnight, oh wait- I have something I wanna- hello?
He heard snoring.
H: guess someone's asleep, I'll tell you tomorrow.

Soon he hung up.

As it turns out once Cassie and Tina left, the group had created proof and shown it through every single period they had to clear Cassie and Harley's name as everyone else realized the truth.

As another good news big was McKayla was rejected big time by Harley, at lunch where practically everyone was and if you weren't someone recorded it and sent it to the whole school.

So you know what they say: what goes around, comes around.
