Words you speak should mean no more

You say one thing then ruin it tomorrow

Yesterday was the best day ever with you

Then today you ignore me until you say we should end it

You claim to love me

Then break it off

You claim to care for me

Then ignore me when I need you most

You claim to want me close

Then push me the farthest away

But it's my fault

Right?

I told you I trusted you

Multiple times

And each time

You used that to your advantage to hurt me more

You put on an amazing smile

You listened when I spoke

When I spoke about my biggest secrets that I was terrified to say

You didn't judge me

You treated me better than the most perfect diamonds

Yet you picked when I was most happy to tear it all down

Right when things were leveling out in life

You threw the curveball that destroyed the tower

Making the peak crumble to the ground

You ignore me when I ask for your help

Because I want to fix the tower together

You claimed that you would always be there for me

But now here I am

Shaking without a hand to hold

Why do I still love someone that constantly ruins things?

My trust for you won't fade it seems even after years

So build up the wall again

And let it fall down

Because we both know that it won't leave me
