Butterflies

Every time I see her
They fill my stomach
My head is sent to another place
While my heart lives in the moment
A shade of rosy red
Appears across face
I hope she doesn't notice
I'm so glade she's mine
She's so beautiful
But she won't let me tell her
She hates it when I say it
Real butterflies
Not a sickening feeling
From something else
Happiness is a real thing
And now I truly experience it
Previous relationships
They didn't do a damn thing
With her
It's a whole new life I'm living
With her
Everything is different
Better
Bolder
Brighter
She's the sunshine I get
When the dark days are come near
She picks me away from my demons
And helps me stay alive
Just the thought her
Warms my cold heart
I wouldn't be here without her
She's helps me find the path
I'm lost when she's away
I must sound like a love sick puppy
Though she is my world
My universe
My everything
Even others of our friends
Have had crushes on her this year
But I'm lucky enough to have her
And now all I get in my stomach are
Butterflies
