A/N
This is her eye and lip. I wanted you guys to really see this, so you can get the gist of her dress. I like to leave things to the imagination, so there won't be lots of pictures, but when I have a picture it's only because it's important for the vision. Thanks guys!! BACK TO THE STORY!!!
Annika's POV
An hour had passed and my mother was finally putting the finishing touches on my dress. After she made me shower and brush my teeth the first thing she started on was my hair. She didn't do much to it, only curled it in a beach wave pattern to match hers. My makeup was flawless though. The foundation that she put on me was a perfect match and went on effortlessly. She did a gorgeous rose gold eye that was topped with a winged line. Lastly it was complimented with a bold maroon shade lip. Simple and sweet, but still bad ass."Mom whatever happened with Nana?" I asks her while she finishes my blush and bronzer.
"Who?" She asks looking at me through the mirror.
"Nana? You know, your mother?"
"Oh, that wasn't my mother that was Christopher's sister." She says shaking her head. I look at her dumbfounded and she laughs obnoxiously.
"You can meet her one day if you'd like?"
"Yes, I would actually." I say smiling.
"Alrighty. Now let me go grab your dress!" My mom says excitedly jumping to her closet. Hera and I laugh and I look over at her.
"You know she's only doing this so I can look good in front of Hades right? This isn't for my benefit." I state looking at the Goddess.
"She IS the Goddess of love darling." She responds. My mother bounds back in the room holding the most beautiful dress I had ever seen. It was a light rose gold spaghetti strap dress with a v-neckline. It held rhinestones that littered ever corner of the dress. It was simple and it would hug my figure perfectly. My favorite touch was the slit on the left leg that would reach to the top of my thigh.
"It's beautiful." I whisper in awe. I'd never had to wear something so beautiful. My prom, homecoming, and winter formal dresses were never this exciting. Especially because I went to only one prom and one homecoming in my entire high school career.
"I know. I've had it in my closest for five years hoping that you'd need a day to wear it, and this is that day." She says.
"What if I need it another day?"
"This isn't the only dress I've been hoarding for you darling." She pushes the dress in my hands and points to the bathroom. I stand up from my seat and shuffle to the bathroom with a smile on my face.
I close the door behind me and the towel that was wrapped around me is soon whipped off as I step into the beautiful gown. I slide into the dress effortlessly and I surprisingly zip it up by myself effortlessly as well.
"Are you finished yet sweetheart?" I hear my mother ask from outside the door. I look at myself in the large floor to ceiling mirror and I gasp. I look absolutely stunning, and I couldn't help but feel myself.
"I'm finished." I say. My mother walks in along with Hera hot on her heels.
"Oh honey you look ravishing! Hades will- I mean everyone will be staring!" She catches herself. I laugh and look at her.
"Shoes to match?" I ask hoping she has a pair.
"Of course darling." She walks out of the bathroom, but only to come back a few seconds later she enters with a pair of strapped heels the exact color of the dress only without the rhinestones. I strap them on quickly and look back into the mirror. I looked even better than I did without the shoes.
