Annika's POV
I had gone to my room after Hades and I spoke. He said he had a lot of work he needed to get done and I completley understood. A kingdom couldn't run itself. I had taken a shower and got comfortable in my bed and looked for the Kardashians, but I forgot it didnt come on today so I stuck to reading a book I brought from home, War and Peace . I hadn't realized I had been in my room for hours until a knock on my door pulled me from my reading.

"Come in!" I belted out. As I bookmarked my page I looked over to see who had entered my room, and I was happy to see the same maid who had help me when I first came, Korey.

"Hello Korey." I said getting up from my bed. "What brings you here?"

"The king Hades would like for you to join him in the dining hall now." She said. I looked over at the clock and read it was seven in the evening.

Did I seriously just read for that long?

"I'll be down soon." I tell her. She courtseys and sets out to relay my message to Hades I assume.

I run over to my closet in attempt to find something suitable for dinner. I finally find a red, lace, off the shoulder dress I had been saving for a special occasion. Satisfied, I run to the bathroom and tie my nearly dried hair in a high ponytail, leaving two strands astray. I hurrily apply some mascara and lip gloss before running back to the room to throw the dress on. heading towards the door I stop when I realize I have no shoes on.

"For the love of-" I screech and run back to the closet to find my black strappy heels. I struggle to find them until I find them in my duffle bag. I put them on and go to the door once more. walking down the hallway I find myself now lost in the halls. I groan and without thinking about it I transport to the dining hall.

"That took a shorter amount of time than I thought it would Annika." Hades says as I approach the table.

"You look nice." He sips his wine as he look at me over the glass.

"Thank you Hades, as do you." instead of his usual black tshirt and pnats he had on a black button up and black slacks. His hair was slicked back, so I could see his entire face, and I really liked it. When I reach the table Hades stands to pull the seat out for me.

"Thank you."

"Its no problem." He went back to his seat and as soon as he did the door to the kitchen opened and the same waiters from the other night came out.

"Good evening Charles. Good evening Ben." Hades said nodding to them indevidually. He seemed to be in high spirits tonight.

"Good evening sir, and Good evening m' lady." Ben said as he walked over to me wheeling over a tray of food.

"Good evening." I said. He places the plate infront of me the same time Charles sets Hades down. They lift the lids off and I smell a familiar aroma. I look down to find a plate full of spaghetti. The smell seems so different yet familiar.

"I had Aphrodite send my cooks the recipe for your favorite food." I hear Hades say. Charles and Ben are too busy setting more food on the table to pay attention.

"Really? Thats so sweet." I gush. My mothers spaghetti was my comfort food. Whenever I went through something bad, whether it was major or minor, my mom would have her spaghetti on the table.

"It wasn't a problem. I think you deserve to feel a little more at home than you've been feeling. Especially with my mood swings. I sure do feel bad for you." He says with a scoff.

I laugh and I see a smile form on both Charles and Ben's faces as they begin to head back to the kitchen.

So they were listening!
