Hades POV
I was sitting in the family room along with Harmonia and Aphrodite waiting for Annika and the boys to get back. I had come from the Underworld after exactly eight hours, and Annika wasn't even here. I say waiting for an hour when Aphrodite and Harmonia joined me. Apparently they left hours ago and Harmonia knows where they went off to, but she won't say where. After another thirty minutes of sitting her I began feeling antsy, but I when heard their voices coming from one of the hallways a sigh of relief flows through my body and all the tense feelings were released. Before I could react Aphrodite was way ahead of me.

"My children! Get to the family room!" She yelled. Within minutes I found Annika standing in front of me along with her three brothers. Her smile was so wide that even though I was partially angry with her for going off for longer than we agreed, I couldn't be the reason for that smile to fall.

"Where have you guys been?" Aphrodite says crossing her arms.

"We went to California." Julio says excitedly. I look over to Annika and she give her mother a nod her smile somehow becoming wider.

"What the hell were they doing in California?" Aphrodite says turning to Harper.

"Getting these." I look over to where the voice came from, but instead I find myself staring at a dark marking on Anteros back. It was a picture of a bird, a dove I assume, and an arrow going through it.

What the hell?

"What is that?" Aphrodite says.

"Tattoos!" He says turning back around. Aphrodite looks at him as if he's gone insane, and I'm pretty sure he has.

"You guys got tattoos?" She asks. They each nod and the room falls into a silence. Suddenly a smile breaks into Aphrodites face and a squeal breaks through as she jumps up and down.

"Let me see them all!" She says clapping her hands together.

"Mother!" Harper says astonished. I don't blame her. Tattoos and piercings were against Olympus rules, and the fact that one of the most important goddesses was entertaining the idea was out of the norm entirely.

"Oh hush Harper." She says shewing her eldest daughter. Harper pouts, and walks over to see the tattoos I'm guessing.

Each boy is showing their mother their tattoos and so far I had seen a heart, a pegasus, their mothers initials, and not only that, but someone had gotten a belly button piercing, but I couldn't keep track of who's was who's. The person I was most interested in didn't show a thing though. That's a good thing I guess, but I would've loved to see what she had gotten. Maybe it would've told me something interesting about her.

"Did you get anything Annika?" I hear Aphrodite ask. I look up and Annika peeks over to me before quickly finding her mothers eyes.

"I did actually." She flips her wrist over and everyone gathers around to see what it is.

"Wow that's what you were hiding from us?" Eros says. "It's gorgeous." He says.

"Yeah, only one place has that, and I wish I could take it, and bring it here to Olympus." Aphrodite says.

"I can't believe you got this." Harper squeals. "It's so adorable!"

I stand up as curiosity gets the best of me and I find myself trying to insert myself into the group. When they all notice me they part, so I can see Annikas adorable, gorgeous, and desirable tattoo. I hear a snicker come from someone, but I ignore it. Annika blushes and hides her wrist.

"Can I see it?" I ask reaching out. She hesitates for a moment then puts her wrist in my hand looking away.

The tattoo is small, but it's still extremely obvious. A blue flame sprouts from a single candle, and as the wax melts, it slides down to the base of the taper. The simplicity of it makes it so much better.
