Yuzuki's POV:

I panted as I faced my identical brother in front of me, sweat dripping down my forehead. He stood calmly, holding a sword in his hand.

"Do not give up now Yuzuki."

I nodded and held my sword up, thrusting it forward toward the male. He easily parried it and moved forward, stabbing his sword into my shoulder. I didn't cry out and used that opportunity to stab into his stomach. He didn't flinch and grinned down at me.

"Very good. We are done for today."

He pulled the sword out at the same time I pulled mine.

"Thank you Carla-nii!"

He nodded and shooed me away, commenting jokingly about how I stank. I pouted playfully and punched his arm softly. I walked to my room to be greeted by a certain bat.

"Zipper! Stop that, I'm sweaty." I whined.

He ignored my cries and snuggled into my neck. I sighed and smile softly at the small animal. He hasn't been feeling well lately and I was getting a bit worried. I used my magic and handed him some sliced watermelons, which he slowly but happily munched on. I watched him eat before looking at the picture sitting on the desk next to my bed. I walked to it, picking it up and touching the glass softly. It was a picture of me and all the brothers at the firework event. I had used my magic and made a picture out of my memory, seeing as that was the only way to stay connected with them. It has been two years since I last saw them and I always stay up at night, crying because I missed them so much. Zipper chirped, flying next to me and rubbing his face against the picture.

"You miss them too huh Zipper?"

He made a sad chirp, giving me the answer. I sighed, putting the picture back on the desk before taking my sleeping clothes and going into my connected bathroom. I looked at myself in the mirror. I cut my white hair to just below my shoulder and my face had become thinner due to all the muscle training I've been doing. My already skinny body was now much more toned and I hated to admit but my boobs had become slightly bigger. I took off my clothes and hopped into the shower, washing the dried blood off my now closed wound. I relaxed as the hot water washed down my back. Finishing up, I walked out of the bathroom much more refreshed when I was knocked down by a heavy body.

"Koko, get off!"

The white and brown colored Australian shepherd pulled off of me and barked, staring down at me with her doe blue eyes. I had gotten her as a gift from Carla when I had first arrived. She licked my face a few times before obediently getting off, and I groaned as I held my butt.

"Koko, you know better than to jump on me! I taught you properly, didn't I?"

She whined and stared at me with puppy eyes and I gave in, patting her head. Her blue eyes reminded me of Shu and Kou, giving me a bit of nostalgia. I stood up and walked out, my pet dog and bat following behind me. I headed towards the dining room to see Shin and Carla already seated at the big table waiting for me.

"Imo-chan, you're almost as slow as the grandma ghoul I saw crossing the street today."

I growled at his joke as he laughed at his little joke.

"Koko, sick em."

Koko ran towards Shin and bit his arm, growling as Shin tried to get her off.

"Oi, Imo-chan! Get this mutt off."

She didn't seem to like getting called mutt as she bit down harder, making Shin yelp. He was getting mad and was about to throw her to the wall but she let go, already seeing through his actions. She ran back to my seat as I sat down, barking happily, tongue out.

"Good job, sweetie! Who's a good girl? That stupid wolf deserved it anyways."

I took a piece of chicken and fed it to the hungry dog.

"Please do not fight at the table." Carla sighed, already getting a headache from our bickering as he rubbed his temples.

"He/She started it." Shin and I said at the same time.

"It does not matter. Let us eat."

I cut into the grilled chicken and we were all quiet, only the sound of our utensils hitting the plates ringing throughout the room. The maids came in and brought a plate of fruits for Zipper and a bowl of meat and vegetables for Koko. I noticed Carla was not eating much.

"Carla-nii? Are you okay?"

"I am fine Yuzuki, you do not need to worry." he said softly.

Shin and I looked at him suspiciously but didn't say anything, knowing better than to defy the oldest. We finished up our meal and I helped bring the dishes into the kitchen before starting to wash them. I was almost done when a voice cut through the silence.

"You know you don't have to do that right?"

"I know, Shii-chan but I want to. It reminds me of old times."

"Do you miss them?"

I flinched, looking down at the glass cup I held in my hand.

"I do." I whisper.

Shin bent down and pet Koko's head making her woof happily. Shin and the dog usually got along, more than I did with her sometimes. But when it comes to protecting me, she can turn into a different dog.

"You've become strong in the past two years. I'm sure after a few more weeks, you'll be ready to go head to head with that bastard and you'll be able to meet them again." he reassured me.

"Thank you Shii-chan." I said as I placed the last plate on the rack.

It was times like this where I felt closest to Shin. He tends to tease me a lot but he also has that sweet side to him that every brother has. I wiped my hands and walked to the strawberry blonde, pulling him into a brief hug. We pulled away and I kissed his cheek, walking away from him.

"I'll be heading to bed. Goodnight."

He nodded and I walked out, the dog and the bat following me. I opened the door to my room and laid on my bed, staring at the ceiling. Koko settled at the foot on my bed and Zipper on my pillow. I felt my eyes water as everyone's smiling faces crossed my mind.

"I sure hope I get to see you guys soon."

I closed my eyes in exhaustion, falling asleep immediately.
