Yuzuki's POV:

The male smiled down at me.

"Yuzuki, is that any way to greet your father?"

"Shut up and answer my question."

"Let me in and I'll tell you everything."

I sighed before opening the door wider for him. He walked in and I led him to the dining room. He took Carla's usual seat at the head of the table and I on the right.

"So?"

"I'm here to hunt down a person."

"Why are you hunting a person?" I asked, confused.

"I never did tell you did I? I'm a vampire hunter."

The breath left my lungs as I stared at the grinning male.

"There's no way someone as retarded as you could be a vampire hunter."

"You really know how to hurt someone's feelings don't you Yuzuki?"

"I just realized that you know my real name. Why is that?"

"That vampire king gave you to me personally and told me all the history he had on you. How are the Sakamaki's and Mukami's?"

I flinched and glared at the male but didn't retort.

"So, who are you hunting?"

"A vampire named Kino."

My thoughts instantly went back to the vampire I had bumped into earlier.

"I know him, I bumped into him earlier."

"What? Where?"

"In town and it was a bit weird since he knew my name but I ran from that weirdo. Why do you need him dead anyways?"

"It was a request from the vampire king himself. Apparently, Kino was abandoned since birth and was raised by ghouls, resulting in his hate for vampires. He's killed quite a few so Karlheinz feels a need to rid of that pest."

I nodded. The doors beside us opened and in walked Carla and Shin. They instantly went on guard.

"Who are you?" Carla asked.

"Calm down guys. This is my adoptive father."

"I'm Seiji Komori, nice to meet you."

Carla and Shin both relaxed but they were still a bit tense.

"I'm Carla, Yuzuki's older brother."

"I'm Shin."

"So what brings a human here?" Carla asked

"He's searching for a vampire named Kino."

"Hmph that vampire is no threat." Shin said, head held high.

"You guys know him?"

"We ran into him once but he was easy to take care of. It was about three years ago though."

Seiji nodded, mentally taking notes. He stood up and faced me.

"I must be going now Yuzuki. It was nice seeing you after so long and I hope you're not breaking plates anymore."

I gave him a genuine smile.

"Do you know how THEY are?" I whispered.

"I'm sorry, I wasn't able to keep contact with them. Karl did say they were alive though."
