3RD POV:
Yui woke up to jumping on her bed.
"Mama! Papa! It's my birthday! Wake up!"
Ayato groaned as he covered his head with a pillow. Yui opened her pink eyes to see her daughter already dressed up in a dress that had sunflowers on it, the bright full moon's light shining through her window.
"Happy birthday Yuzu." Yui said tiredly.
"Thank you mama! Your turn papa!"
"Happy birthday squirt." he mumbled into his pillow, still half asleep.
Yuzu grabbed both of their hands and pulled them off the bed with her vampire strength. Ayato hit the floor face first but Yui was standing straight up, aware of her antics.
"Get ready you guys! I want to go to town to get cake!"
Yui nodded and Ayato growled, pushing himself off the floor and sighing. They quickly changed into outside clothes and went downstairs. Yuzu saw that all the boys were already down, seeing as they had to go to school.
"Good morning uncles!"
She flew down into Laito's arms, who caught her with ease.
"Happy birthday Yuzu~"
"Thank you uncle Laito! Now where's my present?"
He chuckled before bringing out a new necklace that had a crescent moon on it.
"Since you seem to like the moon so much."
Her eyes glowed as she took it, smiling widely.
"Thank you!"
He placed her on the floor and she walked to Kanato who had a cat doll in his hand.
"For you." he said bluntly.
"Thank you uncle Kanato."
His usual frown turned into a soft smile as he patted the child's head. Next was Subaru.
"Here," he muttered.
He handed her a crown made of the best roses in his garden. Yuzu gave him a toothy grin and gave his leg a hug.
"Thank you uncle Tsun. Who knew you could make one of these?" she giggled.
Subaru turned red and looked away, making a huffing noise. Reiji walked up to her and handed her a brand new teacup from one of his collections.
"Woah, uncle Reiji! Are you sure?"
"You are six now so I trust that you will be responsible and not break it."
"Yup! I'm a big girl now!"
Reiji smiled at the little girl before walking away. She walked to Shu who was laying on the couch, eyes closed as usual. He held out a choker similar to his with an mp3 player attached.
"Thank you uncle Shu!"
He shooed her away but there was a small smile on his face. She quickly put all her presents in her room and held her parent's hands.
"The Mukami's have already left so they will give you your presents when they come home."
"Ok! We'll be going into town now! Have fun at school uncles!"
They all nodded, heading out the door towards the limo. Yui smiled down at her little girl.
"Let's go, shall we?"
Yuzuki's POV:
I woke up to see it was already night and I groaned as I felt Koko's heavy body on my chest.
"Get up you heavy dog!"
Koko yawned before moving to sleep on Shin's chest. I sat up and looked at the time.
'9:47 P.M.' it said.
I got up, changing into a T-shirt and some jeans and saw that the other room had the lights on. I walked in and saw Carla sitting at the table, reading some sort of documents.
"Carla-nii, what are you doing up?"
"I should be asking you the same thing. I needed to work on something while I'm here."
"I'm gonna be heading more towards the center of town to go search for that witch. I feel like it would be a good place to start."
Carla nodded and I kissed his cheek.
"I'll see you later Nii-san."
"Be careful."
I walked out of our little apartment and headed down the stairs before ending up on the sidewalk of the main street. The streets had a few cars going down it and I held my up, waving for a taxi only to be ignored. I growled, irritated as I waved another taxi but they ignored me too. I sighed and looked down, already tired of these rude Japanese taxi drivers. Keeping myself together, I looked back up, about to wave another taxi when I saw it, a limo. An awfully familiar one too. My eyes widened and it was like slow motion. The window was open and I saw Shu sitting on the edge, his head practically out of the window. His eyes snapped open as if he realized something and he slowly turned towards my figure, eyes widening as he took me in.
"SHIT." I mumbled, panicking.
I turned around and began walking back to the apartment but I heard the screeching of tires. Already knowing what that meant, I full on sprinted towards my apartment and I could hear footsteps behind me. My run was cut short as a hand grabbed my arm and whipped me around. I was met with blue eyes and I felt all the feelings that I've been trying to push away for the past two years pop back up. Shu had grown a bit taller and his hair a few centimeters longer, shaggier than ever. He didn't give me a chance to escape as he pulled me into a hug.
"Yu-chan," he whispered, his voice cracking a bit.
I opened my mouth but nothing came out. Tears were coming out of my eyes as I stood limply in his hold before reality took a hold of me and I hugged him back just as tightly.
"Riri, I'm home." I said.
I heard sniffling and he dug his face deeper into my neck, breathing in my scent. I stroked his still soft hair and relished in the feeling of being reunited with him. We pulled away slowly but he grabbed my face, kissing me deeply. I let out a yelp and tensed as his arms went around my waist. He kissed me aggressively and I could feel my lips bruising. I pushed him away lightly, breathing hard.
"Riri, wheres the others?"
"They're all going to school. I just jumped out of the limo when I saw you."
I nodded and laid my head against his familiar chest.
"Riri, I have to get going but I promise we'll meet later okay? I have something I need to do."
He nodded against my head, letting me go reluctantly and kissing me on the cheek before disappearing. I sighed a breath of relief as I waved for a taxi and it actually stopped this time. I got in, getting comfortable.
"Take me to the center of town."
