3RD POV:
Yuzu held her mom and dad's hand as she skipped her way to the front door of the mansion. Yui opened the door and they all instantly went into the dining room for dinner. Everyone was already seated but something seemed off about Shu and Ruki. They seemed to be lost in their thoughts as Shu had his eyes opened, staring at the wall and Ruki was fidgeting with his utensils.
"Are you guys okay?" Kou asked.
"We're fine." they said at the same time, looking at each other before looking away.
Yuzu took a seat in between her parents and drooled as today's dinner was mac and cheese, Yuzu's favorite. All the brothers looked down at the food, disgusted but couldn't say anything since it was the little girl's birthday.
"Let's eat." Reiji said.
The small girl instantly dug into her food while everyone around her hesitantly took a bite. It was good, but they all felt like little kids again.
"Hey uncles! Guess who I met today?!"
Yui quickly covered her daughters mouth, laughing nervously as she felt the eyes of all the brothers on her.
"Don't pay attention to her, she's a bit out of it." Yui said.
All the brothers heard her heart beating fast and knew she was lying.
"Y-yeah!" Ayato piped in, trying to convince everyone.
Yui mentally facepalmed at how much of an idiot her husband is.
"I took her to see a princess today, isn't that right Yuzu?" Yui asked her, her eyes telling her to go along with the story.
Yuzu seemed to understand and nodded. Yui slowly removed her hand allowing her daughter to speak.
"Yup! We all went to the amusement park and I saw a princess," Yuzu easily lied.
All the brothers were still eyeing her suspiciously but didn't say anything about it.
They finished their meal silently and everyone went to their respective rooms.
Yuzuki's POV:
I opened my eyes to the smell of the familiar white roses in the air. The mansion was still the same as ever with the yellow brick exterior. I quickly covered our scents.
"Woah, this place is huge!" Daisy said, eyes sparkling.
"Don't get that excited. The people in there aren't even that great." Carla said snidely.
"Nii-chan, don't be mean to them." I scolded.
I started walking towards the garden to see it was still the same, only there were more than before. Everyone stayed back, just watching me as I gently picked one up, accidentally cutting my finger on a thorn. I only smiled as this felt somewhat nostalgic to me. The shadows easily covered my figure, giving me the comfort of the dark.
"Who's there?!" a low voice growled.
I froze as I recognized the voice of the boy who took care of this very garden. Turning around, I see his red eyes peeking through the darkness, making contact with my golden ones.
"Who are you?!" he asked, demanding for an answer.
"Suba...."
His red orbs widened and in a split second, he was in front of me. He had grown taller and his bangs was a bit shorter than before.
