3RD POV:
It had been 2 days since her death. All of the inhabitants of the mansion were in their room, wallowing in their sorrow in their own way. They had yet to open the door again, to see her face. Ayato and Yui were trying their best to stay strong for the unknowing little girl but it was hard. Carla was the only one to go into the room, taking care of his sister's body. Today was no different, he sat next to her and talked about their childhood memories for about an hour. He sighed, standing up, about to leave but his eyes caught something. Impossible to see with a normal human eye but for someone like him, he caught it. The movement of the pinky. He grabbed his sister's hand and noticed it was less cold than before.
"Shin! Get in here!" he yelled at the top of his lungs.
The strawberry blonde appeared in the doorway, looking extremely disheveled.
"I already told you I don't want to see her Nii-san." he snapped.
"Shut up for once and come here."
Shin being the curious person he is walked to where his sister was.
"Touch her hand."
He did what he was told and felt his dead heart thud heavily as he realized that it was warmer than before.
"What's going on?" he asked.
"I'm not sure but I think it's best we get everyone in here."
Yuzuki's POV:
I opened my eyes, groaning at how bright it was.
"Where am I?" I said to myself.
I was in a space surrounded by white and a mysterious mist. I felt someone nudge my cheek and I turned, seeing a familiar black bat. I sobbed, grabbing him.
"Zipper."
He chirped happily, returning the hug with his little bat wings.
"I must be dead if I'm able to touch you," I said.
"Not for long." a voice called out.
I jumped, a bit startled.
"Who's there!" I yelled, Zipper.
He flew towards a figure, rubbing his cheek against it. A lady came out, her skin glowing. Her blonde hair swayed with every step she took. It looked like silk and softer than Shu's hair. She had on one of those white greek dresses that hugged her figure tightly and her green eyes sparkled with knowledge and sympathy.
"Who are you?!"
She placed Zipper on her shoulder before appearing right in front of me, touching my cheek gently.
"I am Luna, Goddess of the Moon."
I panicked, getting down to my knees.
"I am so sorry for speaking to you in such a tone!" I said.
"Nothing to worry about child. Now come, let me see your face."
I stood up and she carefully examined my features, nodding as she thought to herself.
"It seems your body is forcing your spirit back to that world."
"Wait, what the fuck? How am I doing this??"
"You were born with an exceptional amount of power. I'm also aiding you in this, it is not your time yet."
"But why? Why are you helping me? I'm a nobody."
"That's where you're wrong. Since the day you were born, I have always kept my eye on you. You have so much love in your heart and your eyes, they tell me how much you've been through. Especially after that Karlheinz incident, you only seem to grow stronger."
"You know about Karlheinz?!"
"And about Kino. I'm sorry for what you're going through but I can guarantee you that you won't lose to someone like that. Which brings me to my next topic, I have decided to make you the next blessed child for this age."
I was taken aback and was about to answer when I felt dizzy, leaning to the side but Luna easily caught me.
"It seems our time together is up. I'll be watching you and if you ever need me, just call out and I'll come to you in a dream." she kissed my forehead.
"Thank you," I whispered, closing my eyes and blacking out.
----------
I heard shouting around me as I got a sense of where I was. The smells surrounding me were familiar and I felt tears appear behind my eye as I took in the smell of my room and the boys. I opened my eyes slowly, the pain in my chest gone and I was tackled by a blonde girl. My forehead was still warm from the Goddess's kiss.
"Yuzuki!"
"Hi, Yui." I croaked, throat dry.
She helped me sit up and a hand gave me a glass of water. I looked up to see Shu, his usual disheveled hair worse than before.
"Thank you, Riri," I whispered, drinking the water gratefully.
He pulled me into a hug mid-sip and I almost choked on the water.
"Welcome back," he whispered, voice shaking.
I kissed his cheek and faced the rest of the boys, smiling.
"I'm sure you all have questions for me."
"How the fuck are you alive?" Subaru asked.
"Haha, funny story. It seems like my body willed my spirit back."
"I didn't even know that was possible," Reiji said thoughtfully.
"Me either but apparently, I have a strong will and enough magic to do that. It seems like I didn't want to leave you guys alone."
"What happened to your forehead Aunty Yuzuki?"
"Huh? What do you mean?"
Ruki brought out his phone and I looked into the front camera. My forehead was now adorned by what looked like a tattoo shaped in a crescent moon. My jaw dropped, trying to rub it off but it didn't budge.
"I DON'T WANT TO LOOK LIKE A SAILOR MOON KNOCKOFF!" I yelled at the ceiling.
"Who are you yelling to?" Laito asked.
"Well, you know how I died for like a solid amount of time? I met a Moon Goddess named Luna and apparently, she wants me to be her blessed child?"
"That's an honor Yuzuki," Carla said, sounding a bit surprised.
"But this stupid tattoo..." I whined.
I tried scratching it off but Shin stopped me, shaking his head. I pouted before dropping my hands back into my lap.
"She also told me I'll be able to beat Kino."
"How?" Daisy asked.
"I'm not sure but I'm willing to take her word for it. There's so much at risk right now considering how powerful he is but I'll do everything in my power to stop him along with Karlheinz."
The people in the room all had some doubtful faces but I gave them the brightest smile.
"Stop acting like that, you guys! I have you all supporting me so I know I'll be able to make it through!"
They seemed to relax a bit more seeing that I was still my normal self.
"Now, enough of that serious talk. Someone get me some food, I'm hungry."
