 Y/N's POV:

  As time went by, I had talked to the Instructor and she told me I could start off in Obelisk Blue or Ra Yellow but I chose to be in Slifer Red. The instructor told me that I could change my color later on if I wanted to since she thought I'm 'An amazing Aspect to the Academy' and 'Already the top Duelist here' which I found to be BS because I just got here but who am I to argue with a school instructor.

    The instructor lady then gave me my schedule before I left. I was looking it over but I guess I was to focused on memorizing the thing because next thing I knew, I ended up crashing into someone which sent both of us falling to the ground while the person landed on top of me.

    I groaned and leaned up on my forearms, looking down to see a girl with short maroon hair as she wore red clothes, letting me know that she was in Slifer Red. She looked up at me, her light honey brown eyes meeting my Y/EC eyes as her face was taken over by shock, "Are you ok?" I asked as she blinked a few times to focus before quickly getting to her feet which allowed me get up as well. "U-uh Y- Yeah. *cough* I mean, yes, I'm fine." She said, getting serious which confused me as to why her mood suddenly changed but I shrugged it off and picked up the books and papers she dropped.

    Once I picked everything up, I handed her the stack with a smile, "Sorry about that, I guess the overwhelming feeling of being new got to me, heh." I said as I handed her back the rest of her stuff before holding out my hand.

   "I'm Y/N Sennen-Muto by the way." I said as she hesitantly took my hand and shook it, "I know who you are. I was in the class when you dueled Dr.Crowler. I'm Akiza, Akiza Izinski." She said as I smiled and looked down at my schedule, seeing that I won't start school til tomorrow.

    I looked down at the floor to realize I dropped my Slifer Red jacket, picking it up and folding it over my arm which caught the girl's attention, "From the way you dueled, I didn't picture you in Slifer Red." She said as I just shrugged, "I chose it because it reminds me of my dad." I stated as I shoved my schedule into my back right pocket, "Ah yes, the famous Yugi Muto." She said while I shook my head, "No, actually. Slifer was my Dad's card, yes, but not my Pop's, Yugi. It belonged to my dad, Atem, Slifer was his card." I added as she looked at me slightly surprised and curious.

    I shrugged off her look and decided it was time for me to take my leave since I wanted to go exploring around the island for the rest of the day. "Maybe I'll see you around, Akiza." Was all I said before I left to the garage to grab my bike, smiling widely once I saw its gold and black colors.

    But the whole time I was walking to the garage, I couldn't get that Akiza girl out of my head. Her honey brown eyes burned into my memory as I smiled softly and sighed, "She was truly a brown eyed beauty." I mumbled to myself as I grabbed my helmet from the seat compartment and started up my bike before I slid on my helmet and took off out of the garage.

    I had driven around almost the whole island when it was starting to get dark out, deciding it was time to head back to the Academy but on my way back, I saw someone else riding their Duel Runner back to school. All I managed to see was that the bike was a red color that matched the person's red helmet.

    Huh, wonder who that is, maybe I'll find out tomorrow since I have that Turbo Dueling class.

    I went to my garage and dropped off my bike before wandering back onto campus, seeing it was already night time and the stars were more visible out here compared to the city. "Wow…" I mumbled as I stood there and stared up at the night sky, "It's been awhile since you've seen them huh?" I heard from behind me, turning to see it was my cousin, Jaden, along a kid with light blue hair and glasses.

    "Heh, yeah, I only get to see them when I go visit Aunt Ishizu or Uncle Odion since they both live in Egypt and county but it's way too hot there since it's well, Egypt. Country isn't as bad." I explained as I turned to give the two kids my full attention. "Y/NN, I want you to meet one of my best friends here at Duel Academy. This is Syrus Truesdale. Syrus, this is Y/N Sennen-Muto." Jaden said as the kid stuck out his hand, "Hey Syrus, nice to meet one of the people who could probably keep Jaden in check." I said as I shook his hand while Jaden sarcastically laughed.

    Syrus smiled and giggled slightly at Jaden before looking at us with a smile, "Not to be rude or anything but you two don't look like you guys would be a couple." Syrus blurted out, making me cringe and look at him with a disgusted face while Jaden looked like he was gonna throw up. "Syrus! We're not dating, how many times do I gotta tell you that!" Jaden stated once he recovered from his shock. "Let me guess, you haven't told anyone?" I asked Jaden as he looked at me confused before it clicked and he nervously laughing while shaking his head as I sighed.

    He never learns, then again, it is Jaden.

    "Hasn't told anyone what?" Syrus questioned as I chuckled and sighed at the blue haired boy, "He's my cousin, Syrus. We grew up with each other but then he came here and I haven't gotten to see him for two years. Plus, Jaden is gay and I'm also very gay. Y/S (Your Sexuality) actually." I explained as Jaden smiled shyly while Syrus made an 'Oh I'm a dumbass' face.

    "At this point, I'm scared to meet your other friends if they're gonna think we're dating." I told Jaden as he shivered and looked horrified at the thought while I laughed and patted his shoulder. "We should probably head back to our rooms before the night Guard guy catches us." Syrus said as I nodded, "I'll see you guys tomorrow. Night." I said after giving Syrus a fist bump and Jaden a hug then walked off towards my room.

    Tomorrow should be an interesting day.
