A Date?!?

Jaden's POV

     "Where's she going?" Jesse asked as I shrugged, "She probably went to drop off her bike at the garage. Let's meet her there." I stated as I jumped over the railing and landed on the track, seeing my friends do the same but when I turned around to start walking to the garage, I ended up tripping and I would have fallen face first on the ground if it wasn't for someone catching me at the last second.

     "You should really watch where you're going, Jaden, I would hate for something bad to happen to you just because you're being way to clumsy." I stiffened and looked up to see Yusei Fudo was the one who caught me and was holding me in his arms. This is the second time today that he's helped me, why?

     Soon the thought of wanting to stay in his arms crossed my mind, looking to see his toned arms securely wrapped around me so I wouldn't fall again. I noticed that he had changed out of his Academy uniform and was wearing blue jeans, a black sleeveless shirt with red on it, and brown tall boots instead. Gods, he looked amazing. I blushed darkly at the thoughts that clouded my mind and looked away from him but I didn't pull away from his arms, not yet at least.

     This is a very rare thing, ya know? To have your crush help you twice in one day.

     "Are you ok to stand on your own?" Yusei soon asked, snapping me out of my daze as I quickly forced myself to pull away from him and put some distance between us, seeing as a frown came over his face while his eyes showed a slight amount of hurt in them but just a second later, it was gone.

     Was he upset that I pulled away? Or am I just imagining it? No, it's probably the latter.

     "Thank you, again, Yusei, for saving me from embarrassment this time but I gotta go. I have to meet up with Y/N right now." I said as I began to walk away until he grabbed my hand and stopped me in my tracks, turning to look at him as a slight tint of pink appeared on his cheeks. What in Ra's name?

     "W-Wait! I was uhh... I was kinda wondering if maybe you wanted to hang out sometime to uh, do an activity or something, i-if you want to of course." He rushed out, the light dust of pink that coated his cheeks darkened slightly as he stared at me with slight hope in his eyes while he nervously scratched the back of his neck with his left hand since his right was holding my wrist at the moment.

     Is THE Yusei Fudo asking ME out? THE Yusei Fudo is asking ME, Jaden Yuki Kaiba-Wheeler, out? How does someone even function to this?

     I realized I haven't answered his question and instead I had just been staring at him like a creep. Come on Jaden, play hard to get or something! "Why?"

     PERFECT.

     "Because I wanna get to know you more." He answered sincerely which confused me because he technically didn't really answer the question, "Again, Why?" I asked as he sighed, knowing I wasn't going to back down until I got a real answer. "Because I've had crush on you for two years now, you Dork." Wait, what? What did he just say?

     "Why me?" Ok maybe I should stop asking with questions and answer his question with a normal answer. "Because you're funny, kind, adorable, and an amazing person and an even more amazing duelist." Yusei stated as I felt my face start heating up from his compliments, noticing his face was blushing even more as well but it stayed a light blush while mine was most likely dark as hell.

     Great. Note my sarcasm. "Uh S-sure! Y-yeah um, I'll be down to hang out with you. But uh, l-like a date?" I asked as he nervously chuckled but didn't reject the idea which let me know that it was a date.

      Wow, this is happening way to fast, please tell me I'm not dreaming! If I am dreaming, I would hate to wake up which would make this scene just cruel and evil if it was fake and I woke up.

     "Oh- OH! Uh, y-yeah, I'm down just uh, tell me when and where and I'll be there, hehe. That kinda rhymed." I rushed out, scratching the back of my neck nervously with my free hand while Yusei smiled brightly at my answer and chuckled softly at my small joke.

     "Ok, how about we talk about this tomorrow and make a time that fits both of our schedules?" He asked as I nodded, hearing my friends calling out to me. "Y-Yeah, tomorrow. We'll finish talking about this tomorrow." I said as I turned and almost tripped before straightening myself up, hearing Yusei chuckle from behind me which made my blush darken even more.

     If was even possible.

     I continued walking over to my friends. When I reached them, I saw that all of them had smirks on their faces while I looked down to try to hide my red face. Key word, tried.

     "So you gonna tell us what your beloved Lover Boy wanted or do we have to wait til we meet up with your cousin?" Aster asked while Chazz, Jesse, and Syrus snickered earning a warning glare from Alexis. "I'll tell you when we meet up Y/N." I stated before we all left to see if we could find my cousin. We eventually found her waiting for us in front of the dorms while other students stared at her like she's a piece of meat or something else.

     'Ugh, she's human too guys! Same goes for you, Alexis!' I thought as I looked over to see my friend biting her lip as she stared at my cousin. I sent Alexis a death glare when I caught her still staring at my cousin like everyone else which made her quickly look away from Y/N. Then I instantly remembered about Yusei and I smiled, forgetting about Alexis being a pervert and skipping over to tell my cousin the good news as our friends trailed behind me. They were giving me weird looks the whole time as I skipped over to Y/NN but I couldn't care less! I had a date with my crush!
