Y/N's POV

     "Let's get this Duel started!" Adrian said as we drew our four starting cards, looking over the cards I got once I had all four. I saw that I drew, 'Polymerization', 'Luster Dragon', 'Graceful Charity', 'Dark Magician', and 'Draining Shield'. 'So far so good.' I thought as I looked up to see Adrian looking at me. Guess I'll go first. "My move! I draw!" Drawing and seeing I drew 'Red Eyes Black Dragon' (Attack:2400; Defense:2000). Damn, I could really use more level 4 or lower monsters right now.

     "First off, I'll activate my spell card, 'Graceful Charity' which let's me draw three cards and discard two of them." Drawing the cards to see I got 'Valkyrian Knight', 'Ancient Rules', and 'Sky Reacher' (CIMU). I grabbed Dark Magician along with Polymerization and sent them both to the graveyard, knowing that I might need him later on. "Next, I'll activate my spell card, 'Ancient Rules'! Letting me special summon any level 5 or higher normal monster from my hand. Take to the sky, 'Red Eyes Black Dragon'!" Seeing my Uncle Joey's card appear to the field with its mighty roar.

     "Then, I'll summon out my 'Luster Dragon' before setting two cards." Setting 'Draining Shield' and 'Sky Reacher' face down on the field, "And with that, I end my turn." I said as I watched Adrian draw a card. "I summon, 'Defender, The Magical Knight' (ATK:1600;DEF:2000), which earns a Spell counter on it once it is successfully summoned to the field. Then I'll set two cards face down and end my turn." Adrian said smugly while I stared at his face down cards.

     I can't afford to mess up, Aster's soul is on the line.

     I took a deep breath and drew a card, looking at it to see it was 'Final Geas', this card should help me out later on in the duel. "First, I'll summon out my 'Valkyrian Knight'!" Seeing my knight appear next to Red Eyes, "Now go 'Luster Dragon', destroy his Defender with Breath of Fire!" I called out as my dragon sent out a burst of blue from his mouth and straight to Adrian's monster but once the smoke cleared, Adrian's Defender was still there but Adrian had lost 300 LP.

     I stared at his monster confused as to why the heck it's still on the field, "It's because of it's counter. I removed it to save him." Adrian simply said as I frowned, "Alright then, let's do this again. It's your turn Valkyrian, show 'em what you got, Flaming Sword Slash!" I called as my Knight charged towards Adrian's Defender, destroying it and taking 300 more LP.

     "Heh, thank you so much because since you destroyed my monster, I could shuffle it back into my deck to special summon this! 'Exodius the Ultimate Forbidden Lord'! (Attack:? ; Defense:0)" Adrian said as he summoned out his monster.

     The monster looked almost like Exodia except this one was a different color and it was in one piece unlike Exodia.

     "Doesn't matter because Red Eyes could take you down! Go Red Eyes, Inferno Fire Blast!" I called as Red Eyes made a move to destroy Exodius, "Not so fast! I activate my trap, 'Negate Attack'!" Adrian said as Red Eyes stopped its attack as I growled lowly. "I set a card face down and end my turn." Setting 'Final Geas' face down and stared at Exodius, waiting for Adrian to call an attack. "Come on Sennen-Muto, I thought you would put up more of a fight when it came to getting your friend back, guess not." Adrian said as he dramatically sighed before he drew a card and smiled.
