Calvin's POV:

     I watched as the helicopter that was holding my best friend, flew away to Ra knows where but all I can think was: why?

     Why was Y/N, a really happy and energetic person, recruited to be a Dark Signer? Especially being marked as King of the Netherworld nonetheless. The big bad.

     This wasn't adding up at all but I honestly didn't care, I just wanted to get my Y/N back. My happy and pain in the ass, Y/N. My Watashi no Hīrō.

     I sighed and closed my eyes but I immediately regretted it because all I saw when I closed my eyes was my best friend's now red eyes while red marks covered her face and the evil smirk she was now wearing. She was so different, it terrified me.

     "We can't do anything here. Let's get back to Kaiba Corp to see if we could find out where that chopper is going by using traffic cameras." Seto said but I kept my eyes glued to the night sky, the stars covering the darkness of the night. "Calv, come on." I snapped out of my thoughts once I heard a voice and felt a hand on my shoulder, turning to my right to see Yami looking at me with a sad look, his Red-Purple eyes looking at me with sadness, "Don't worry, we'll get her back." He stated as he handed me my new hover board.

     Seto had given me the hover board as an early birthday present since I don't drive much and I don't really drive a Duel Runner like Y/N but I did know how to ride a skateboard so Seto made me this so I could keep up with the Duel Runners. Joey had given Aster, Syrus, Chazz, and Jesse a car to keep up with the others. When we got here though, the building was falling down and Yugi, Yami, Yusei, Jaden, and Akiza were running out of it then that's when I saw my best friend's face staring down at us with a look that held so much hate.

     I shook off the thought and let myself get dragged away by Yami towards the others, seeing Akiza and Yugi seemed really shaken up about what had happened. They had to duel Y/N, the person they love and deeply care about the most, it must have broken their hearts. I turned on my board and began riding away as the others followed, seeing Yugi and Yami get into a car with Seto as we all headed towards Kaiba Corp, where the other adults were waiting for us.

     When we got there, Seto led us to some kind of waiting room that had a bunch of computers and screens along the walls on one side of the room, seeing the other adults were watching something on the huge screen but turned around once they heard us coming in. "I'm guessing by the long faces, you didn't get her?" Malik asked as a frown formed on his tanned face, "No, the building was collapsing and she escaped in a helicopter with the other Dark Signers." Yusei answered while I felt as if I had been punched in the gut, knowing they were talking about Y/N but knowing she turned against us to hurt innocent people, the thought made me sick. It wasn't right.

     "I'm going to hack into the street cameras to see if I could find which way the helicopter was going. Maybe then we can hopefully be one step forward. Mokuba, Tristan, and Duke, can you three help me by looking through some of the cameras?" Seto asked the three men, who agreed and followed the CEO to a row of computers to start hacking and other computer stuff. I sighed and walked to the other side of the room and towards the balcony doors seeing as the room we were in was on the top floor a few doors down from Seto's office.

     I stepped out into the balcony, feeling the cold night air hit me as I closed the door behind me and began walking over to the railing of the balcony. I leaned against the railing and looked up at the night sky, seeing the stars were still shining against the dark sky, sighing as I looked away from the sky and down the tall building towards the busy streets below before I let my mind start to run wild.
