Jack's POV:

I was on my way back to Y/N's room when I noticed a bunch of doctors and nurses freaking out, instantly spotting Doctor Ellie and walking over to her. "Doctor Ellie, what is going on?" I asked as I grabbed her hand and pulled off to the side as she looked at me horrified. "It's Y/N." She said, noticing how she was shaking a little bit, "What's wrong?" I asked as I quickly looked at the room Y/N was in and pushed through the crowd and into my friend's room, not waiting for Doctor Ellie to reply. When I got inside, I instantly noticed that Y/N's bed was empty, turning to see Doctor Ellie standing there in front of the rest of the doctors at the entrance of the room.

"Where is she?" I asked, dropping the bag of food that was in my hand as I felt my heart drop while I started to freak out. Where the hell could she have gone? I was only gone for ten minutes.

"That's the thing, Jack, we don't know. We were coming to do the regular rounds when I came in and saw that she was gone. We have no idea what happened or where she could be." Doctor Ellie said as I felt my blood run cold, "Maybe she woke up and just left, she's said that she's always hated hospitals." I said, trying to convince myself that she just woke up and left. "I thought that too but then I threw that idea out the window once I saw that this was still here." She said as she pointed to the nightstand by the bed, seeing that Y/N's Duel Disk and deck were still there on the nightstand. She would never leave that behind. Something isn't right.

"So if she's not here or awake, where is she at? Did one of the nurses take her or something?" I asked as she shook her head, "No, but we think something bad may have happened here." Doctor Ellie said as I swallowed the lump that formed in my throat before I decided to ask her the question.

    "What is it?"

"Seeing as no one saw her leave or anyone come in but the window was wide open... I think she may have been kidnapped."

I completely froze once those words left her mouth, looking to the window to see that she was right, it was wide open. I quickly pulled out my phone from the front pocket of my white jeans and unlocked it, going to my contacts as I clicked on Jaden's contact picture, lifting it up to my right ear as I looked out the window while the phone rang. "Hey Jack, kinda a bad time-" "Are you with everyone?" I cut him off, hearing him go quiet before he answered, saying yes. "Put me on speaker. Now." I said, hearing him go quiet as I looked out the window, "Jack, what happened?" I heard Yusei say as I swallow the lump in my throat again, "Y/N's gone." I said, hearing noises on the other side before Yugi's voice came through. "What do you mean she's gone?! She's in a coma! How could she be gone?!" He frantically asked while I looked out to the horizon, seeing how dark the sky was, almost as if a storm is coming.

    "She was kidnapped."

Y/N's POV:

"So, Wolf, when can I wake up? I'm getting tired being locked inside my own head." I crossed my arms as I looked at the black and red wolf that seemed to be standing proudly at my side, "Don't worry, you will awaken soon once you get to the hideout." The Wolf told me as I raised an eyebrow at him. "What do you mean? I'm in here with you." I stated as he chuckled, "Yes, your conscious is in here, but I mean your body. We have some faithful subjects, who managed to get your body so that we could fulfill our takeover. Us being the Dark Signers of course." The Wolf said as I chuckled and nodded.

I hummed and began looking around, only now noticing how everything seemed to resemble a Shadow Game. Or the Shadows at least. "Wolf, if this is supposed to be my mind then why does it resemble the Shadow Games?" I asked as he turned to look at me, his red eyes staring into my Y/EC eyes, or at least, I thought they were Y/EC, "No, your eyes are red, just like mine and this is your mind but since you're in some sort of coma, your mind will put you in a situation for you to find your own way to wake up." He explained as I raised an eyebrow at him. "How did you know what I was thinking?" I looked at him as he chuckled, "We're connected to each other, I feel what you feel and you can feel what I feel. I know what you're thinking and You can know what I am thinking as well. Perks of being a Dark Signer, all Signers are connected to their Earthbound Immortals." Wolf stated as I nodded, now understanding what he meant.

I sighed again and began walking around, scanning the darkness as the Wolf followed me. "You know, you know my name yet I have no clue who you are except that you are a Wolf with black fur and red markings." I stated, looking at him from the corner of my eyes while he continued to look forward. "You may call me whatever pleases you. Just not something pathetic." He told me as I smirked and chuckled softly before I started to think of a name to give my canine companion. "I think the name, Ares, suits you." I stated as his head turned to look at me as his voice rang in my head, "Ares? As in the God of War? Heh, why that name?" I could practically hear the smirk in his voice as it rang in my head. "Well, we are trying to start a war with the Signers and we're the only ones that could officially start it. Therefore, I'll call you Ares." I stated as I looked around again to see everything was the same as always.

" I like it and don't worry, we will awaken soon, we do need one more person for everything to be complete." Ares said as he continued to walk at my side."You continue to say 'soon' but when really is this soon of yours, Ares?" I groaned as I raised an eyebrow at him while I waited for his answer until I felt something within me shift. I suddenly felt drowsy, like how you feel when you're trying to stay awake but the sleep keeps trying to call you to try to force you to sleep. "Ahh, I see it is time." I heard Ares state as I fought back a yawn but failed as it left past my lips in a long sigh like sound, wiping the tears that came to my eyes every time I yawned before looking down at Ares.

"Time for what exactly? I feel like I'm in desperate need of a nap." I sighed as I started to feel the opposite of exhaustion, I actually felt refreshed. What is going on? "It is time to wake up, Y/N. It's time for the Kings to awaken and claim the world as their own." Was the last thing I heard Ares say before my vision darkened and I fell into what felt like a much needed nap.

    Or so I thought.
