Kaede and I are in my room chatting

"I-i have a really big crush on you shuichi! Like... I love you!"
Uh.. I could feel my face heat up.. I.. Really don't like her in that way I was blushing a lot and I really didn't know how to respond
She smiled, I think she registered that as a yes

I didn't kiss back, I was just frozen there, panicking.

I walked downstairs, the only person there was Rantaro.
I just flopped in a seat next to him
"So how'd it go"
"Heh.. I chickend out"
"Hm, gather the courage and do it again another time. I'm sure even if he dose reject you, he'll let you down slowly." He patted me on the back.
"Nah, I won't do that. He likes Kaede. I think they are a thing" I said trying not to look sad
"You can't be 100% sure with that" He tried to reassure me
"No, I saw them kissing"
"Oh..." He didn't know how to respond either
"It's fine, I'll get over him."
Shuichi's POV
She then pulled back and looked at me
"S-so.. Uh so how do you feel?"
"Uh .. I-I um I don't uh.. Ummm" I can't funcTioN
"Oh I'm so sorry.. I- I should have asked before and i-" She a feels bad. Oh noo
"It's fine Kaede. I uh.. I-I can see where you assumed"
"Can we stay friends?" She asked
" Yeah! Of course!!" I smile
She smiled back
