Ch.10. Its my choice.

Shuichi's POV.

"I guess I was kind of jealous if how close you and Kokichi were.." She mumbled

"O-oh.."

"Wait. OMG do you like him?" She excitedly asked

I blushed Profusivly and covered my face as I nodded slowly. I can trust her, right?

"OH MY GOD!!"  She screamed. She bounced up and down

"I never expected you to like a guy like him.. I always suspected that you were at least bi... But  anyways it's your choice who you like!!" She smiled at me

"Ye-yeah.. It's my choice." I smiled a bit

We talked for a bit mainly about how Kaede is confused about her sexuality. I tried to help but I dunno if I was much help. then I heard a knock at my door

"Hey bro can I come in?" It's Kaito

Oh right we have training today
We still do that just to stay fit also we just talk about whatever.

"Oh yeah uh come in"

He walked in and looked at Kaede  and then at me.
"So uh.. Are you two like a thing or....? " He said as He scratched the back of his head

Huh? Would Kaede have told him? Hm.. Wonder why that's the first thing he said...

"Nope! I found out that he likes someone else!!!" Kaede said smiling

"Oh really? Who is it? What's her name?" Kaito said shocked

"His name is-" I cut Kaede off by slapping my hand over her mouth.

Kaito's eyes widend

"Kaede... Be quiet" I. Mumbled

"Oh sure he may not like him that much but he's your best friend!! He has to accept you." She smiled, got up and. Left giving me a thumbs up.

Oh no she  cant leave me here... Not now. If he finds out it's Kokichi he'll flip.

"Wait your gay?! "He looked at me, jaw dropped.

" Uh..  Kinda... I guess..." I mumbled

".. I guess that's ok but... Wait it's not Kokichi is it?" He said as he glared at me

I looked away, avoiding eye contact I really don't want to get lectured about the guy I like.

"Dude, you can like a guy and I don't care about that but Kokichi??? You are either messing around and if you aren't you need to stop" He said in disgust.

"He may have done very illegal things, you know, because of his talent! Dude, think this through."

"I-I"

"And even if he accepts he's going to play with your heart until he's bored. He's a bad person Shuichi. Choose someone else" Kaito was just standing there. Warning me about things that aren't true.

His gang really doesn't do anything bad, and I can tell he's trying to change. I want to scream. I want to shout. I want to tell Kaito that he is wrong. But I can't find the courage so I just say

"But it's my choice." I walk out of my room and outside to our training area in the courtyard.
