Andy POV.

I woke up with strong arms wrapped around my waist protectively. I looked up to see Rye still sleeping holding me tighty. I tried to move but couldn't instead Rye woke up cause I moved.

He looked at me and quickly opened his eyes wide, "Goodmorning baby, how are you feeling?" He asked in his morning raspy voice while stroking my cheeks.

"I am feeling good now" I said while cuddling closer to his chest. He held me tightly and started stroking my hair.
We were in a complete silence for a moment, not awkward but in a peaceful silence.

"Thankyou Rye" I said breaking the silence. "For what babe?" He asked confused.

"For saving me...." I whispered.

"Baby look at me" he said, I looked into his eyes.

"Andy babe never thank me for that ,
I didn't do it to hear a thankyou from you, but I did it cause it was my duty To keep you safe, To protect you, To look after you, I am your boyfriend after all and I love you okay?" He said in a very serious tone.

I smiled, "okay" I whispered and kissed his lips, it wasn't any lustful kiss, but this kiss was full of emotions, I was trying to showing him how much I am grateful to have him in my life and he was showing me that he meant every single word he said just now and how much he loved me.

After sometime we pulled away, our forehead still resting on one another's.
I got up and went to the washroom.

After I came back I saw my Mum and Rye talking. "Oh my baby, come here" she said and pulled me a big sweet caring hug, "Baby are you okay, your cheek is bruised, it must be hurting" she said and made me sit on the chair.

She brought an icepack and held it on my cheek. I hissed a little. I looked at rye he was looking down with a long face.

"Rye?" I said, he looked at me, "I am sorry Andy, if I would have been there early, he wouldn't have hit you" he said.

"Rye, please don't blame yourself, you still saved me or else I would have been raped" I said.

I stood up and gave him a hug, he hesitated but hugged me back.

"Awwww you both are so cute" My mum said . "Rye dear... Andy is right don't blame yourself, you saved him and that's all that matters" she said.

I pulled away from him.

"Now..... is there something I should know?" She asked raising her eyebrow.

"Umm..... yeah Mum well Rye is my boyfriend and I love him" I said while intertwining our fingers.

She squealed happily, "Yes finally, you guys are perfect for eachother. Rye dear as I told you, I can always trust on you with my baby right, take a good care of him okay?" She said in her motherly tone.

"Yes Ma'am" Rye said making us laugh.

"Call me Mum Rye dear you are my son too now" she said smiling.

"Yes mum" Rye said smiling widely.

Mum smiled, she came towards us and gave us both a kiss on our forehead.

"I will prepare breakfast for you both" she said and walked towards the kitchen.

I already freshen up so I went up to my room to change, Meanwhile Rye went to the bathroom.
