"wait, what?" hoseok was shocked and clueless when he saw the closed sign on the door to the nurse's office. "it's closed?"
"this never happens though,"
"it's fine i can wash it away." jeongguk turns around, pinching the flesh around the wound.
"gosh, what happened here?"
"oh hey seokjin," hoseok waves. "where were you?"
"had to run somewhere, needed something." seokjin raises the paper bag in his hand. "uhm, let me take a look at that."
seokjin flips the sign, signalling that the nurse's office was open. he lets the two students enter before he closes the door.
"when did this happen?" seokjin puts on his glove.
"not that long, i was showing him around and taehyung tripped and fell on jeongguk."
"take a seat on the bed." seokjin said as he took a couple of equipments. "let's stop the bleeding first."
seokjin applies gentle pressure with a clean bandage and elevates the wound until the bleeding stops.
"come with me, we're gonna wash the wound."
seokjin cleans jeongguk's wound, keeping it under the running tap water. "to reduce risk of infection." seokjin smiles. he used soap to wash around the wound, careful not to get it in the wound.
"hey jeongguk, i gotta run. i'll be back in a few minutes." hoseok taps on jeongguk shoulder before leaving.
now that they were alone jeongguk could look at seokjin as much as he wanted. he kept his gaze at seokjin, not looking away at all. he couldn't believe that he could see seokjin again afterall.
seokjin applies a thin layer of an antibiotic ointment before covering the wound with a gauze, wrapping it with a bandage keeping it in place.
"you know i couldn't stop thinking about you after the party."
"jeongguk, what happens there, stays there. there's nothing going on between us now."
"i'm just the school nurse." seokjin finally locks eyes with jeongguk. "you're just a student."
"but i missed you." jeongguk held seokjin's hand. "and it's driving me insane."
