Hazel ended up sitting down near the shore of the Black Lake. With her left hand she made small lilies appear on the floor. It was surprisingly the only wandless magic she could muster up and even if she hates flowers, Hazel still does it because it never seizes to amaze her.She had no clue what just happened but she was glad it did because otherwise she wouldn't have been able to get out of there.
She watched the flowers slowly grow beneath her palm but soon enough she blows them on fire when near the bushes she could hear movement, she was going to stand up before a huge black dog came in front of her. Hazel looked for her wand ready to defend herself but the dog had very different ideas.
Her eyes widened in panic, she wasn't good at defending herself, she was screwed. But unlike the death her mind planned in a few seconds, the dog walked forward to her, laying its head on her lap. Not caring it was ruining her dress she started to pet the black dog, that weirdly enough smelled too good for being a wild dog.
"Guess you had a rough day too, huh?" Hazel spoke not expecting a reply from the animal. It was calming to have the animal on her lap giving her support.
Hazel sighed watching the gorgeous sight of the castle. "Everyone is broken. They just like to pretend they're not. It's like a mask that no one is willing to take off" she softly spoke, she realized the dog was looking up to her noticing its grey eyes. This dog is gorgeous, it must be from somebody at Hogwarts who couldn't come to school without their pet.
"Wanna know the real reason I placed my name on the globet of fire?...I have this terrible urge to be reckless" Hazel speaks chuckling at the end, "and I am dreadfully fightened of becoming old and having no memories at all—I am just dying to do something worth it."
"I suppose there is no logic, not really" Hazel sadly said. She gripped the dogs fur as she leaned back on a tree.
From the distance a tall figure approached her. Aurelius sat down at her other side not saying anything at all. Hazel turned her head to take a good look at him noticing how his forest green eyes viewed the sky full of stars. Now that Hazel takes a good look at him, he is very handsome. Not the type of cutie like Cedric but rather sexy, if that doesn't sound too weird.
His brown almost blond hair looked so soft Hazel actually wanted to ask him what type of shampoo he uses.
"My father sent me a letter" he started breaking the silence. Hazel suppressed a snort thinking it was probably a serious thing. It was common between purebloods to not send letters to their kids regularly, they only wrote to them if it was a very important matter.
"He wants me to marry... they already have everything arranged" Bitterly said Aurelius. He tried to hide his glossy eyes by petting the black dog on Hazel's lap but the girl still noticed his tearly eyes.
"I'm sure It won't be that bad- you only have to look past that" Hazel said trying to cheer up the boy.
"You didn't grow up like I did, Azie"
This single comment got really mad Hazel leading for her to snap at him. Her eyes harned and her hand left the dogs fur. "With a loving family and everything you ever wanted? Stop acting like your life was so hard" She spat at him watching as his eyes changed too.
Aurelius stood up with Hazel following hearing the dog bark a little.
"You know, it hurts when I realized that you're not in-love with me." Aurelius voice was trembling, but he had to keep on going, it was too late now.
Hazel backed away a little, surprise taking all her face. She tried to suppress a giggle at his sidden outburst, why she found it so funny? Merlin make it stop, "But nothing can compere to the pain I feel when you backed away from us, from me"
